QUOTE(triads418 @ May 15 2008, 12:54 PM) i have a asus 8800gt....i notice that its temperature is quite high ~70 celcius The card's fan runs at 30% default stock speed.any way to lower down the temp? Like what KayK said, use rivatuner (latest version) to control the fan speed. This post has been edited by kmarc: May 15 2008, 01:40 PM |

Don't despair..... my ASUS 8800GT can only go core/mem 695/956mhz.... (stressed using ATItool)
Furthermore, the single-slot cooler is driving me nuts.... occasionally getting artifacts after 20-30 minutes of gaming.... probably due to heat Anyway, I've updated the Nvidia drivers..... lets see whether the artifacts are still there.... |

Anybody running their 8800GT using the 2x-molex to PCI-E adapter? (That means that your PSU doesn't have the PCI-E connector from the PSU)
I want to find out whether there would be any problem running the card on my older 500w PSU (2nd rig) which doesn't have PCI-E connector.... Oh ya, my 8800GT is running on my first rig WITH PCI-E connector... This post has been edited by kmarc: Jun 30 2008, 04:59 PM |
