6cm fan or 8cm fan? also means old version reference fan of new version refence fan... the old 1 have realy temp problem... but i think they can perform at that temp.. just that in term of OC then have bigger obstacle...

lyp hardcopy and softcopy almost same la, LYP hardcopy is just a simplified version of softcopy for pczone...

they got update, u see in hardwarezone they got the updated date... but they update only for hot and common item... the rest they didnt update the price and stock....

bcoz 8800GT is a reduced of 128sp G92 die, which is 16sp lesser leaving only 112sp... therefore that slot is empty.... all 8800GT is the same empty for that slot... therefore that particular area dont need heatsink
have a look at ur card... that slot will be missing if u r using 8800GT

if u observe the online pricelist carefully.... on top of the pricelist have the pricelist date.... and if u get the latest pricelist as now APRIL week1..... and u compare to lowyat hardcopy APRIL week1... its the same or simplified version(not so much item listed) only... unless u compare both different date for softcopy and hardcopy... and also there is slight chance for the hardcopy to change but the changes wont be major as price is according to market and might change everyday..... pricelist just an estimation only.... verbally ask the salesperson on the spot is the best answer...

i'll say pre-overclock card isnt that worth to get compared to reference clock even im using one of the pre-clocked card....... personally felt that galaxy dual slot cooler now is a good buy at ~RM710..... save ~rm230 compared to ASUS 88GT TOP ed.........

hmmm coz the price spend for the extra overclock(top pre-overclocked) is not worth it..... spending ~Rm230 more just for ~10% faster only.... and not all pre-oc card is stable... i've heard ppl having trouble with Qimonda chip where they facing crash and need to slightly downclock it... im not sure myself since im getting a stable at pre-oc.....

yes there are consumer who buy thgs that is not worth for its price bcoz they have no knowledge it...... we as a smart consumer have to choose wisely.... if they ask us that knew about it... we have the responsibility to tell them wat is benefit to them... rich doesnt mean much spend all... smart buy is better than blind buy... u can go get best card in the world and make it QUAD SLI... but do u really think its worth??? or in another word, do u think it is necessary to buy it? unless they have the money and seriously cant think of anywhere to spend or any bank to keep it then go ahead to get it...... that is one of the type of enthusiast...

there is no generalization made in my statement.... already mention that mine is no problem with it... that alone already break the generalization IF u assume it is generalize....

hmmm yes thats why we need to advise them to get the non-preclock even if they wanna ditch out more performance just with money due to unworthy(best bang of buck).... im sure they can understand it and mostly will listen to hardware literate ppl... that is when they ask or we encounter this kind of situation(not as salesperson).... buying apple display screen cant be compared with other hardware, they have are the other level in terms of branding, and more.... judging my "best bang of buck" falls only into same category such as 19" inch LCD screen, 22" LCD screens, All apple LCD screens, 200$ graphic card, 150$ graphic card and so on for each of the category..... and ofcoz interms of best bang of buck in "all 3dcard"....... 9600GT is the one since rm560 only for galaxy one..... 2nd by 8800GT 512mb dual slot cooler which is galaxy too for rm720

anyway it is just my personal opinion and i know diff ppl have thier own too.... thats why i said if they rich enuf and really wanan get rid of the money in anyway then speechless...

if u want to compare XFX 8800GT 512mb 256bit for 640mhz clock speed, then viewnet is 799 and pczone is 990..... i guess they didnt update the price at all and i doubt they have the stock... pczone pricelist is full of item but when u ask them then alot dont have except for common item.... Zzzzzzzz... and i really doubt XFX 88GT at 640mhz is at 799 since XFX quite well known as expensive brand...

just bench with downloaded 3dmark... that is the default settings already.. u dont need to change any settings for normal bench.... no piracy needed....

non-preOC card sure cooler.... Galaxy 88GT dual slot cooler is my 1st choice if im to buy a new 88GT now...... rm725... sum ppl say rm710 only...
if 9600GT also galaxy at rm540.,....

comparing performance/price.... 9800 series still have long way to go for best bang of buck.... 96GT is arguable and alot debates on that...
