Not sure if this have been asked before?

1. Does BigPay have a paywave function in the physical card?,

2. What is the max amount of money which BigPay can hold?

3. Can i change the mobile number which I used to register for my BigPay account? That means update my mobile number in the app.

Thanks.

this is part of BNM's eWallet requirements .... the whole registration process is called KYC (know your customer/client). it's also meeting the AML/CFT requirements to record ewallet users. the details is dependent on the wallet size provided.

with bigpay's eWallet size of RM10k, more information is required such as NRIC/passport and selfie (to proof you are a LIVING person!)

other ewallet with smaller size, e.g. RM150 or RM200, there's no need for these verification.
you can try compare with other ewallet services, e.g. boost, fave, kiple, vcash, payfy, etc all are almost identical on the registration process. the amount of details required differs depends on wallet size.

Thanks.

Reload is always in MYR? Won't be any other currency right?

max amount is depending on the ATM machine used. Some max at 1,500, while some RM3,000. You would have to hunt for the latter.
and yes, RM6 per transaction.

Which ATM machine allows 3000 RM withdrawal?

Can use BigPay to pay insurance premium direct at AiA online portal? Don't want to go through auto debit method.

Found my answer in post #1712 but is it verified?

My card has been suspended.

Reason given is my activities are suspicious (I withdraw the unused amount that I top up in order to maximize cc cash back and BT purposes).
Total withdraw amount so far is less than 60k in 2 months time.

Explained the same to their RISK MANAGEMENT officer.

No use.

The officer said my activities trigger the alert, and she did not mention what is the withdrawal threshold. And she said I have to proof that I am not doing money laundering.

So guys, good luck and make sure you don't churn so much and kena like me .

Money laundering my ashes.
*
60k in two months is too extreme. Maybe 1k per month will not trigger their alert.

Anyway, financial institutions are always monitoring our activities.
