i just now made the online application for tunecard. at the step 5, i use fpx as my option of payment. My problem is, my stupid firefox browser block the popup from cimbclicks. And i cant find "return to fpx" button. so i just close the window as it. Now i dont know, what if the status, because i didnt see the last step, And when i login to tunemoney and click on tune card, i need to reenter the form, which meant i need to repay..

how? can somebody lead me?

If firefox is blocking, it means it doesnt went thru...

U can retry again or just opt to pay at post office when u collect card.

Else if u still worry, u are welcome to call tunemoney customer service

Thanks, but it happened after the transaction is successful. The RM50 already deducted from my cimb..its only fpx cant updating...that i already made the payment...

check ur account whether money deducted or not..
If deducted then call tunemoney
*
yup its deducted already..
have emailed them, hope they will resolve this matter soon..
I also doing mistake by refill the form 2nd time, but i choose 2nd option for my payment choice. Because i dont have enough fund left in my cimbclicks. Just to see if my previous application is in the system or not, only after that, no more " apply now" link when clicking at tune card section. Which meant my previous application is not in the system!. Bad come to worst, now the side ask me to make the payment at the bank counter before 22 march. Hope this not making my application more complicate and my Rm50 not waive..

stop comparing credit card to a prepaid card. likewise you can't compare a postpaid plan and a prepaid plan. if you want to do a comparison, do it within the context then maybe there's some point to it. a kid under the age of 18 can't get a credit card, get it? nail that in your head if you don't get it.

you don't get charged RM2 when you do it with EON Bank. at least there's an option that's free. if you lazy or don't feel like it then you can use the other options.
that sucks.

Children can soon go cashless with debit card

KUALA LUMPUR: A few weeks from now, children as young as 12 will be able to swipe a debit card and leave their cash at home.

Tune Money Sdn Bhd chief executive officer Tengku Zafrul Aziz said applications for the prepaid Visa Tune Card would be made available for children aged 12 to 18 years.

The Tune Card is a debit card that gives instant online approval with no credit check and allows for cash withdrawals at ATMs worldwide. The annual fee is RM9.99.

Currently, credit cards are allowed only for those aged 18 and above.

Tengku Zafrul said: "Children can buy things for themselves and it will be easier for parents to transfer money to their children. They won't have to give them so much cash.

"This way, parents will be able to easily monitor and control their children's spending, as every transaction will be recorded."

"We believe there is a niche market, especially for parents who have teenage children studying overseas," he said.

The complete details on the Tune Card for teenagers will be announced on Feb 1.

I just received my Tune Card today, as backup/alternative to my PB Visa Debit Card.
I must say PB Visa Debit Card definitely offers better conversion rates.
I verified my Tune Card Visa for Paypal ($1.95 USD), found out I was charged RM7.33 when I checked my statement online. That translates to 1 USD = RM 3.75. Terrible
*
Is it? then i cant wait to withdraw from paypal to tune card..100usd = RM 375!! hope its work with the same conversion rate..
Rm is strenghten day by day.. current rate is 1usd=3.23 . and its could getting lower.. i wait for the right time to withdraw my paypal money..

edited: nah.. i think its include the currency conversion fee 2-5% from paypal if im not mistaken..because tune card not issued in usd/ international card..

I tried sending USD 2.00 dollar to my friend thru PayPal using my PB Visa Debit Card, I only got charged RM 6.25 (1 USD = RM 3.26).

Are u saying that PB Visa Debit Card is an international card?  rclxms.gif
*
no, i said tunecard is not international card. not sure bout pb visa electron though.. maybe its international because of the word " visa electron"

for paypal -currency conversion fee is 2.5% for card issued others than paypal currency..
for tunemoney - currency conversion fee is +0.5% , dont know which 1 they use though..

ive been charge 1.95usd=Rm7.42 myself..personally i care less bout 1.95 usd charge, the charge will be debit to our paypal account when we making 1st transaction via paypal..

Hello guys, new here - this thread, this forum. laugh.gif

Anyway, I've apply for tunecard as well, pretty smooth except for the 'first name-last name\surname part' (tongue.gif), did my initial reload through CIMB a day later, paid the RM 2 fee, fetched my card from the post office after more than 8 days, paid the RM 3 fee and then activated my card the same day and finally reloaded the card through FPX... And did my first ever online purchase through Amazon.

So intially I have the minimum amount in my account -
Initial amount: RM 40.01 (minus the annual fee - RM 9.99)
Reload: RM 100.00
#Amount: RM 140.01

Online Transaction(Amazon): US$ 20.47 or RM 66.35 (exchange rate approximately US$1 = RM 3.25 that day)

An amount of RM 66.58 (included shipping + the 0.5% tunecard rates) was deducted from my account.

Which leaves me now with a cleared amount of RM 73.43

So, the problem I am facing now is,
1)I couldn't login to my tunecard account (yesterday - like what Manusia80 mentioned above )
2)I can't reload since I can't login to my cimbclicks account through FPX.

This is the error I am getting... tongue.gif

Internet Banking Login error:- RMI Error - Could not find RMIEngine: Connection refused to host: 172.29.16.219; nested exception is: java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused

I've sent emails to CIMB, tunemoney and even MEPS, no respond yet except for a delivery failed because mailbox is full from postmaster@tunemoney...

This sucks since I'm gonna miss the Amazon 50% discount sale... But well, I might be better off saving my money... laugh.gif

Edited:

Problem fixed now, got myself some replies from Mr CEO and the tunemoney team and and looks like it's a glitch with CIMB's internet banking which I have gotten a respond as well.

Yup cimbclicks seems to get problem that day, including requesting for tac number.. take me almost 1 hour just to receive the tac number..

When you guys talk about paypal and tunecard, that's putting RM into paypal or taking paypal dollars out as RM?

Jeff Ooi posted a few days ago about Paypal not allowing money to be taken out as RM, so who's right?
*
You can withdraw to the card (eg. tunemoney visa card) with 5usd charge applied.. will be in RM in ur card..u can use either withdraw the money from atm or use the card as it afterwards..

Alternatives? go for alertpay, alertpay support Malaysian bank..that is deposit or withdraw..
