QUOTE(laymank @ Jul 3 2018, 07:50 AM) likely the issue with the card terminal, not the card. So in the end how to pay for hotel?my family were not able to use any visa/mastercard, too while paying for hotel in China and the hotel personnel said that their terminal does not open for 'international' credit cards. i supposed in some places, only Alipay/Wechat Pay is better received than credit cards. |

QUOTE(yom@m@ @ Jul 5 2018, 09:33 AM) i'm interested in getting this card as i'll be in Europe soon & will make a lot of payments/bookings etc. What hotel only cost Euro 21. That sounds more like hostel price?my question is the statement "Pay the real exchange rate" holds true? I've just paid my hotel with my other card (Euro 21 @ RM108.07, hella expensive!). Can i expect to pay a lower rate with BigPay? |

QUOTE(kenlui @ Jul 16 2018, 08:49 AM) In SG currently, withdrew from UOB atm with no extra charge. Why you need in SG? Many places in SG accept card payment - even food court stallsAs for exchange wise, slightly higher compared to xe.com, and after adding in the RM10 charge by BPM, the total conversion rate will be higher than those currency exchange in MV ady. |

QUOTE(peri peri @ Jul 16 2018, 01:42 PM) but bear in mind this is an PREPAID card. Not true. Startup companies likely just burn money first in order to gain market share. Once the volume is there, they'll think of how to monetizemeaning same like TnG concept and Air Asia concpet, they suck you money first in advance. Its quite a plus point for them. They always in gain plus, this is how corporate survive. What you saw in on surface. |

QUOTE(kenlui @ Jul 16 2018, 09:36 PM) More expensive compared to change to SGD at a currency exchanger in midvalley. But I only withdrew 200SGD which was RM593.15 from BPM, XE rate was RM592.75, but after adding RM10 for the atm charge it was a total of RM603.15. 2.965 sounds like SGD exchange to MYR. Not the other wayBased on kl remit exchange in MV, the rate was 2.965 so RM593. So I had to pay RM10 extra for the convenience. No idea why KL remit exchange's rate was the so good. This was all based on 14/7 rate. |
