Looks like AAEzpay has removed the credit card top-up option for the Virtual card too.

QUOTE(sms2u @ Jun 17 2016, 12:16 PM) look like? before that u can use cc to top up? I was able to reload my virtual account with CC on last Saturday. Now only FPX is available. Not sure if this is permanent... Now cannot? Big prepaid change the look and feel for the website. But, airasiaezpay not yet change |

QUOTE(bjax22 @ Jun 17 2016, 04:57 PM) Haha, seems like Airasia realized too many people reload using CC and they closed the hole already. Even if you reveal the cute little CC option, the server will just discard the request and bring you back to the topup page. At least that is what I see today using Chrome. Yea it seems so. Actually I thought it's in their interest when more people reload and use their cards because they should get some transaction fee out of it. Not sure why they discontinued it Congratulation to those successfully topup using the hole previously. I don't mind if they pass on the payment gateway cost to us if it's not overly high. At least there's an option to reload with CC. |

QUOTE(sms2u @ Oct 26 2016, 12:58 PM) I also have the virtual card, but virtual card won't require physical swipe so shouldn't need to be replaced. As long as you can receive OTP then it's fine. The pin for my physical card was sent through email and password protected (.pdf). Safer than through normal mail actually. |

QUOTE(facktura @ Apr 13 2018, 04:46 PM) Those who have active old BIG mastercard prepaid card, can stil apply this BigPay card? both cards are valid to waive processing fee at airasia website? Can have both card types and both can waive the AA processing fee. But I've cancelled my Big Mastercard, coz there's monthly maintenance charge if no transaction in that particular month. |

I've just returned from Hong Kong and used BigPay twice there. The FX rate for those transactions were slightly lower than XE.com's currency conversion rate! No spread and lower mid-rate.

Just to share my experience using the Bigpay card in Korea:
The FX rate for transactions were consistently lower than foreign exchange counter rate in Malaysia, as well as on XE.com's daily conversion rate. All my transactions were successfully processed at merchants' terminals, except just for 1 transaction that it was unsuccessful. |

QUOTE(MGM @ Jun 27 2018, 02:12 AM) My reasoning to do this is to reduce credit cards linked to e-wallet/apps to reduce the risks of potential security breach or fraud. Imagine if you have a credit card with high limit linked to an app... |
