well if u look at the power output thats y la
in this vid in malaysia a 240d w123 try to "chase" a lancer which they thought is an evo, even reaching only 110km/h also gegar sekampung already

W124 parts is cheaper now compared to W123 and easy to get. Used to take care of W124 before, but handed it over to my brother.... too much problem compared to W123.

I have W123.223 230E Auto, Black engine & fuel injection. use it for my daily routine travel.
I only use brand new parts and getting spare part still easy...

My only current problem is rust... from previous aircon water leak, but that can be resolve with new body work and paint...

Riding comfort ... still W123, as an old car the suspension is system superb .....I think better then my BMW 3 series in wavvy and bumpy road. Highway? 140 ~ 160 km/h no problem.

She's resting now for a few days due to front wheel bearing need to be change, parts cost ..only RM75 for bearing + RM12 for new bearing cover/cap. (lost the cap on the road from overheated bearing gas) ... all brand new parts

wow... inspiration...

Will work towards this ....

I believed engine have been upgraded (the most expensive parts to do)

235/40/18R, add side skirting ... that's all I believed .... what a beauty

I've seen W124 upgraded at one of the workshop near my place with turbo engine, new leather interior, full body paint work, AMG rim. the owner spend about RM40-60K

Plan for my car....
1. Full body paint work (most important)
2. Change all spring rubber pad to 1 dot ... that would lower the car by a few inch
3. Refurnish my existing W123 sport rim
4. Send some engine parts for new powder coat, anodize and chrome if required
4. New internal finish (the last time i did this about 15 yrs ago, right after I purchase the car)
- most important ... maintain original
