usually macintosh product is not mean for durable .

durable is IBM . hope apple fans wont flame me .

most of it's product is about it's look and function with simplicity.

apple mouse , i am using the bluetooth wireless , no problem forme . scroll ball no problem yet . next sem break ngam ngam 9 month , time to pry out for clean up which i dont mind . 9months clean up once for just 15 minutes . i wont mind doing that .

I think wired and wireless need to be cleaned too because it's just the method they connect to the computer that differs.

How do you clean your mouse, if you don't mind sharing. The prying part sounds scary cos I think I would leave some dents on the plastic case....

Just a joke, you can just buy a new 'Mighty Mouse' every 9 months, that's if you're rich.

i think to be fair... it will depend on each user...

as for the sticky roller scroll ball... maybe some people just clean it after using... maybe some people just have very clean fingers... and maybe some just pure luck and it never fails for a long time...unlucky for some of us i guess...

as for me... i do not prefer wireless whether it is an apple mouse or a normal pc mouse... the reason... i am a butter finger... i'll most probably risk dropping the mouse within 1 week of use...i prefer the wires mouse....cos at least there is a cord for it to hang by if i do eventually drop it...

and i don't understand why gamers want wireless mouse...it is heavy, won't it affect their gaming...i know some of my gaming friends like ultra light and sensitive high dpi mouse...and the apple mouse isn't any of the both especially the wireless... just my opinion...

as for the bluetooth.. i never heard of any signal interference... some people told me their mouse doesn't work after their computer fall into sleep... normally they just need to give it a click after waking from sleep and give it 3 or 4 seconds before starting to move the mouse...i think this is to give it a moment to re-establish the bluetooth link again...

as i say it really depends on the user... some might think that it is expensive and serve no purpose... but some might like it for it's design, looks and functionality....

don't pry open the mouse... you'll most probably end up buying a new one...if you keep it maintained nicely i think an apple mouse will last as long as a normal pc mouse... the only thing that i can do nothing about is the high price hmm.gif ...again the price thing is just my opinion... RM199 is a bit too rich for my blood.... i'd rather have a razer copperhead mouse....

Yea, if it were me I would buy a cheap gaming grade mouse that doesn't have to be maintained so often.

I got a wireless mighty mouse... works perfectly on both my dell notebook and macbook.

actually with RM289, you get a bluetooth wireless mouse with Laser technology isn't that expensive after all..

ps: i love the feel of the mighty mouse "nipple" ... hahaha.. very smooth 360' scrolling...
