updated it.. maybe the online connection is 'slightly' better, but thats all?? come on sony...

still downloading the update firmware. but if i wanna skip this update, then there's another update in the future, do i have to install this 2.17 first before update the newer firmware? |

yes, you can skip updates if you don't sign-in to PSN or play the newest games.
2.17 din't add any new features but only some bug fixes for online connections. |

Apparently I went ahead and did it before reading this post. Update runs fine for me though. Improvements in some oneline games? Well it didnt help COD4 much.
