yes. i have to agree with that too. How do you rate a hardcore player? rule of thumb, he/she is dead stuck infront of the screen daily for numerous hours playing and beating the game or the opponent. All consoles can be played by hardcore gamers. People often confusion or perceived that fps ) person shooter games are consider hardcore gaming. What about games like simulation (Grand turismo, Final fantasy, etc , just to name a few). Everyone has his/her own taste. so hardcore player doesn't really restrict formally on game consoles. When we play a specific game, criteria which demand certain skill is required. For example, a fps requires good reaction and fast thinking. games like final fantasy requires strategy thinking, games on Wii requires tedious muscle movement or high muscle sensitivity. All these do contribute to the enjoyment of gaming. Approach wise is different. In addition, some games too require co-op and team work is on of the key for winning.

now back to the TS question, my choice will be the ps3. due to xbox's 3rod and i'm a bit aged so gradual body movement is not really my liking. A piece of advice just like what the previous forumer have mentioned. Ask yourself, what do you really wanna play. Cause in the end of the day, its not about the consoles, its more about the game. what you're really playing is the game, the console is just the medium for you to operate in the game. cheers.
