just to make sure, the 'applicant online ID' and 'no. pelajar' is the same thing, right?

Also, do we have to wear formal (shirt+slacks+tie) during registration and orientation? if so, then i need to go buy some new clothes..

no i dont think its the same thing. the 'no. pelajar' we will be informed during registration day. thats what i think. i love to 'buat taw'..

btw it is compulsary to wear formal on the registration day and certain occasion during orientation. and during oriantation, make sure you have a white shirt or maybe you can have some pattern on it. like mine, i already bought 2 formal shirt. one for orientation, one for registration day and going to class on every monday. and another time, i just 'buat taw'.. biggrin.gif

hello peeps. this is gonna my final year at uniten. wish u guys all the best for undertakings. this time not a fasi couz busy with internship.

so, replying some of queries:

1. table fan is a good idea. just incase u get an apartment which is facing the sun. but ull end up blowing hot air! ohoh

2. please follow the fasi instruction(play all the silly games, the modules are there for a reason, even if u go to kem bina negara ull do those things, even tho ur a grown up)

3. university will not held most activities(except the really big ons). most activities are handled by students for students. please be active for few reasons:

-last time i heard that u have to get curriculum points (merit points) in order to grad. dont know whether they are gonna implement this year.

-curriculur activities will put urself an edge when applying for work. they'll see all ur certs and involvments. this is what i heard from the HR dept for the company that im currently undergoing practical with. but bear in mind still cgpa counts.

lastly my advice. plssss.. listen to the fasi. ur only with them for a week. then ur on ur own. they are there so that u dont get culture shock with uni life. there are few cases that student migrate to uni life get culture shocks.

4. SUX BIG TIME FOODCOURT MENU(ALL THE FOOD STORES haviNG all the same MENU ALL NASI GORENG THIS AND THAT, ALL SAME MENU ONLLY!!! HOPELESS VOMIT!)

10. EXAM and Grades ThERe 80% depend on which lecturer U take! but for IT department Lecturer seldom give tips to study! so if your books got 100000++ pages then u have to go and memorize and die in apartment.....

13. I wont introduce my relative to go UNITEn and study. For those said wanna go UNITEN further study i Said "pls dont go there because that is the place for Growing Of Nerds........" smile.gif

*
I find our uniten foodcourt by far cheapest compared to outside foods. I find Upten food quite nice n I miss Izad Mee Bandung.. biggrin.gif

Can i know which lecturer does not provide tips? Some lecturer provide tips indirectly..usually when they keep repeating it will for sure come out during d exam and some lecturer love to repeat questions from previous semester exam. Our IT course r more to theoretical than practical so a lot memorization need to be done. Haha

Totally disagree..I'm a fine student who enjoy studying n outing with my uni mates. Btw, I'm happily graduated from Uniten rclxm9.gif

each apartment has its own LAN port. fro the twin sharing, every table got one port, that means you have the port all to yourself. in the single apartment, there are only 2 ports, so you have to buy a switch to distribute the line to all the other 3 of your apartment mates. not sure whether you can use router, coz i tried once before, didnt succeed.

Yeap.... ITs cheap the food there.... but the problem is Menu for all the Food stores are totally the same.... example Mee Bandung. all the stores also got mee bandung. so The same thing repeat at every store. The problem is not at the price... is at the choices of foods.

Lecturer that doesn't give tips probably all COIT lecturer So far i only got tips from my Lab Instructor for lab Test.... Paper test the tips only sstudy all what they have though. If specify their name i cant... because I cant remember all their names. I only know go class listen listen after that Chao .... After few months then sit exam only write down thier name at slip LOL so i dont really remember their name. hahaha

Its true that the paper might be the same if the same lecturer still handling certain exam paper or subject..... but every semester they will be some changes to those lecturer who handling those exams or subjects. If the changes of Lecturer, It will cause the paper to be slightly different from the previous paper.

BTW... u outing...? how you go out with taxi or you got your own transport? because for me.... i dont have transport even my housemate but my friends have transport and they often go back weekends and weekdays they will go eat by themself after class finish.

So we wanted to go out everyday or even once a week also wanted to think how much we going to pay for transportation if we just wanted to go until KL. If hardly... go out = Stay in apartment rot already......
