I would like to know what are the exemptions from ACCA for students with CAT.

Also, in order to have CAT behind a person's name, must that person complete certain amount of working experience as a pre-condition?

Thank you.

what do you mean by 1 year?
the course is 1 year or one year of relevant working experience is needed before the title CAT can be used behind the name.

For ACCA 1st year, what are the papers?

1 year experience.

Papers,

F1-F3 as Fundamental Knowledge modules
F4-F9 as fundamental skills modules.
P1-P3 Pro- Essentials
P4-P7 Pro - Optionals.

Naturally, first year exemption from CAT will get u right into F4-F6.

F4 onwards= Part 2?

I was told by a friend taking CAT that she will be exempted from Part 1.

Thank you.

yes, part 1 is F1-F3. Normally part 1 is only 1/2 a year or 1 semester, since you are allowed to take up to a maximum of 4 papers per semester.

I see. Thank you.
