I need advice here,I'm going to take P2 and am normally a Sunway student. The problem is that I strongly dislike Menon's style of teaching since 2.5 with Sunway's signature overlong hours of classes (which I have little tolerance for) plus extra classes to finish the syllabus. Her style of teaching is like expecting 100% of the students are eager to get world prize, leaving less enthusiastic students (like me blush.gif ) with difficulty to cope.I am more comfortable with essay papers than calculation based papers.I really get frustrated every time I attend her class. It really made my life miserable studying that subject, took me 3 tries to finally pass the paper and also affected my focus on other papers.

However, she's admittedly well versed with her stuff and often praised as a good teacher.Should I take the safe way and continue learning P2 from her since my fundamental knowledge from 2.5 was from her (although my foundation is still quite shaky)?Or should give Joe Fang from KSA a try?I'm afraid I can't follow his lectures since I came from Menon's school of teaching. All I need is to know enough to pass this dreadful paper once and for all, help please notworthy.gif

F9 was quite depressing for me also, they added some twists that made me think much longer than I should.I got to the exam hall just before 3, I had to fill those exam center forms during the 15 minutes reading time so I got to read the first 3 questions only.Only during the last 15 minutes I got to know Q4 was the NPV and IRR question, if I knew earlier I would have skipped others to do that first. That time panic and hand shaking (also because room cold doh.gif ) keep making calculation mistakes, no time to do IRR and even read c) or d) cry.gif

If you're fresh from SPM I thought you're supposed to take CAT first? blink.gif Then after completing CAT you'll be given exemption from the first few ACCA papers.
Just follow what people normally do, take 3 papers first. As for registering for exam, if the college don't take care of it for you (reminding you to fill up the form and pass it to them) you can submit online.Just choose your college and ask them what you should do.

how is ur P1 and F5?????

P1 not too bad lah.But one thing I'm wondering, as for the statement for the chairman to read at AGM at Q1, do they allocate professional marks for the "To: Chairman, From:...." format like a Report? For some reason it did not occur to me that I should write it anyway just in case until after exam doh.gif

i enrolled myself into acca at ftms college wif my UEC qualification..
They refused to let me enter acca initially coz they doubt about UEC qualification..
but after they calling to ask ,i m allowed to study acca instead of cat eventually.
but i wil b studyinng F1 to F4 during this upcoming half year ( July - Nov)..so i wonder if i should take F4 as well in Dec sitting  sad.gif  sad.gif
or else i wil hav to self study for F4 and take dis paper in June next year??tat's my biggest confusion..

i need ur help..thx =)

It is certainly not impossible, especially for the earlier papers. As long as you believe you can have the discipline to handle many papers, you can do it.Just be prepared for the busy schedule and tight revision before exams. If you think you can handle, go for it nod.gif

Yea. But for professional paper, I do not encourage that. Unless you've properly schedule.
Basically I think taking more than 4 Paper 1 shot is committing suicide... Especially the time table of ACCA, subjects is one day next to the other, if not just two or 3 days in between....
*
ACCA knows that as well, that's why they only allow a maximum of 4 papers per sitting. If its free for all, some people will go overboard and take 5 or more papers like it is SPM, in less than half a year sweat.gif

Wah I really hate ultra long cases that eats up too much of the students' time to read.As it is 3 hours is not quite enough for a lot of students to finish everything properly, very unfair.Remember to make it known when the exam survey comes along ya? wink.gif
