Well, u will regret because ur college life was merely like back and forth from tuition.. nothing different with secondary school. Only the tuition centre is more high class which has projector, OHP....

i,as a sunway college ACCA student, oso hv 2 admit that i have payed more than the college had given me...
(this is viewed tru MONEY perspective)

i think u personally hv 2 pay a visit to kasturi....
they using OHP??

college life ar??? haha.....then, i think basically your college life comprises of staying back at the foyer....chatting....
building networks....clubs...

i also knew a few sunway prizewinners hu took tuition at kl colleges...
but they din drop out from sunway...as they had full/ partial scholarship...

reli furious...seeing ACCA students fighting each other....

because the same reason people would choose sunway...when think of ACCA...
Sunway has been advertising so widely that it injects confidence to d market( we people loo)....especially to outstation students like me....
hostel facility really does help me a lot...as compared to taking ACCA course at other colleges...as im a total stranger to the environment in kl....how would i know wher to stay, wher to get my food, n it might be more safety to stay in campus???

and that time, i don;t even know there are other colleges like Kasturi, Mcrorange n FTMS providing quality ACCA tuition....can you imagine the feeling of sitting in the lecture hall, listening to the lectures..but at the end of the clas, it seems to add more confusion to you afta listening to not-so-up-to-standard lectures...soli,i hv to admit this...n to be frank,im not that stupid as well la...lolz...when ask for further explanation for certain confusing topics,normally will b replied," learn later....or explanation that cannot be understood??"what is this ???

n i thought ther will be nice lecture halls...like those advertised on the brochures...
mana tau...u noe i noe la....broken bench oso got...rubbish everywher....

but, as an oustation student, what choice do i hv, except to bear with this imperfection..i really need the hostel...

to be honest as well, i was impressed by the numerous prizewinners produced by sunway...
i thought the quality of the lectures is the main substance and ingredient that yield such brilliant results....
however,again, u know i know la....what is the actual weapon that those oustanding students were born in sunway..
--their past academic records gave more evidence--
and more interesting, some of them were born by 2 fathers( studying at 2 colleges or more).....

moreover, sunway is the only institution that provide me with full scholarship for CAT course based on my SPM results...
other institutions do not have such offer.....they only give rebates....or refunds rm100 per A obtained....
den comparing benefit vs cost....i think its more worthy to study in sunway lo...

and now....those are the reasons i chus sunway over other colleges....

in terms of quality... i advise others to go to other colleges..

in terms of convenience....come to sunway....

in terms of money...of cause...outside la....

different ppl have different needs....then as hostel accomodation is my need, sunway seems to be d best choice....
though nida spend more la....

i study in sunway because i first discovered sunway while i wanted to take up CAT/ACCA. simple as that. i made no comparison or anything like that because sunway was a stable place to go and i entered in january so pretty much time constraint and at that time i knew nothing about cat/acca i just went for it as it was the fastest route to grad. i hope this clears up. but for people who have made more research than me after spm, they have a choice to choose and its up to them.(like u)

uni life is attractive, fun. u make lots of new friends etc. please remember to work hard for acca.
maybe for you it can only be found in uni, for me, life is flexible, i can find happiness everywhere because i believe in giving i will receive it.  uni is just a vehicle, a vehicle in your life, the phase of life. you can always meet different people from different walks of life.

personally to me.
Theres no right or wrong decision. everything in your life is made up of decisions of your choice. you make your life, you are the creator of your life.

you want to follow your sister to have a happy uni life, thats great. everyone wants a happy uni life.  i want a great life too. doesnt matter where i go, i will make my life great, anywhere i go ill meet interesting people.
people is what drives my life, it doesnt matter what kind of situation, environment, where i go i meet great people that  i want to know. its cool, different people have different goals. thus the priority.

Excel in everywhere you go. Survive in everywhere you are thrown into, thats a warrior spirit.
In the end what really matters is yourself, if you want to do it. Havent people mention that sunway has more deffered and dropping students than anywhere else also? .. more come in , more pass, more world prize, more failures, more droppers.

halo....hope i could help you with this...


i attended f7 with ms menon (sunway) -- she is quite good, but always late to class. she will expose you to more than what the exam requires....links standards together so that you could get a better understanding of the standards. overall, she is good, but always late to class. and he class is quite packed, have to go early to reserve seats. and lots of classes.

there are other good lecturers as discussed by LYN members...such as Joe Fang from kasturi.

hey, i want to quit sunway for this semester but to come back to it next semester.
i still have balance in sunway, can i defer d tuition fee to next semester or ask for a refund??

1. they can choose any exam centre as they like. you are the one filling up the exam entry and not sunway management, thus they have no control over your preferable exam centre. don't worry, i myself was a sunway student, and was not taking exam in sunway college, but in my hometown.

2. to become a full time student, you must at least take 2 pprs wf sunway. if you are only taking one ppr in sunway, you will be registered as part time student. smile.gif tongue.gif
