i did Q3 (so confusing with all the forward rates given), Q5 (MIRR never give reinvestment rate how to do?), Q1 (part b dono what he is asking for), Q2 (part b dono what to put, just cal some ratios and still managed to calculate Z-score)
i just took 50% X 800 for 1st year, remaining years reducing balance. i think the depreciation policy is to confused u 1 coz depreciation is a non CF and therefore not taken into APV.
same with me. study so hard for all the hedging but so little asked 
advise to u guys...don take P4...it's really a freaking tough paper with the new examiner!!!!

I cant do P5 today. argh.. wat is the probabilty I can pass?

finally finished up my very last paper of ACCA today (although don know can pass anot). here i m to share some feelings and thoughts with u guys. hope it helps especially to those new beginners of ACCA.

2.3 (F6) : Ms. Wong Paik Wan @ Mc Orange [Failed]
* My 1st time ever taking ext ACCA paper after leaving TARC. 1st time enroll into my current college, Mc O. ms. wong teaches quite well actually. she is a very friendly lecturer, explained things very clearly and always ready to answer my queries. but dono why i failed. mayb coz of 1st time taking ext paper so hadn't suited myself yet 

DEC 06
2.3 (F6): self study [Passed]
2.4 (F9): Mr. Chan Tze Kang @ Mc Orange [Passed]
* decided to choose mr. chan although he was not as famous as andrew pang. guess what? I'LL NEVER REGRET taking his classes. he is the BEST lecturer i've ever attended so far. his teaching skills are superb! this paper was my 1st attempt n i attend 2nd term only coz lazy n i passed with 51 marks lol. not my own effort but thanks to mr. chan!!!    
2.5 (F7): Mr. Haneef @ segi that time [Failed]
* mr. haneef is another good lecturer whom i respect a lot. he is very very knowledgeable and smart, especially in a/c std areas. but his classes can be quite bored sometimes. that time also dono y failed this paper. maybe coz always sleep in class  
2.6 (F8): Ms. Sheila @ Mc Orange [Failed]
* here comes d killing paper. this paper made me headache for so many times. ms. sheila is another good lecturer but her style of teaching doesn't suit me. her notes were so bulky (2 heavy books with tiny fonts) n she tends to teach very tediously. as most of u guys, i failed this paper at 1st attempt 

JUNE 07
2.5 (F7): self study [Passed]
2.6 (F8): Ms. Sheila @ Mc Orange [Failed]
3.2 (P6): forgot the lecturer name jor @ PAAC [Failed]
3.3 (P5) : Mr. Chan Tze Kang @ Mc Orange [Failed]
* this paper very 'um dum' la....knowledge everything i got. failed it coz i aimed for perfection, not enough sleep can't concentrate n din manage to finish the paper. sorry mr. chan i disappointed u   

DEC 07
F8 : Mr. Low Chin Ann @ Kolej Bandar [Passed]
* finally i passed this paper with 71!!! the only reason was coz i chose the right lecturer. mr. low is another lecturer i MUST thank him. unlike sheila, his way of teaching is very simple (using mind map etc) and he forced u to copied notes alot. u'll keep on copying in his class n able to memorize better when u revise back. thanks again mr. low for helping me to get rid off this most troublesome paper     
P1 : Ms. Sheila @ Mc Orange [Passed]
* last min studied for 3 days n passed this paper. 1st sitting of new paper is always easy. it's true.

JUNE 08

* this paper i always ponteng la coz his classes are really alot! n he always singing the same song in the class. but overall Mr. Parmindar is very knowledgeable and funny. but his class is so huge (300+) 
P4 : Mr. Chan Tze Kang @ Mc Orange
* as usual goes back to my favourite lecturer again 
P5 : Mr. Chow Kim Tai @ Mc Orange
* too bad mr. chan is not conducting P5 classes d, so no choice lo have to attend mr. chow's. he is okok la, can be quite bored sometimes. i still prefer mr. chan anyway

the purpose i've written all these long stories is not to show off anything but to encourage u guys to work harder to conquer ACCA and provide a guide to those who is seeking for good lecturer. i was also like most of u failed many many times before wasting so much money, time n efforts. who knows i might fail again when the results come out in august.
btw, i just think that as long as we're determined n willing to work hard, we can get through it. ACCA is hard but not impossible. as long as u don give up, u r almost there. wish u guys a better future ahead

based on jackson miller's postings, there is a high possibility that he is a lecturer

Actually, I have already graduated. I'm working in KPMG now. I used to study under Parmindar.

He has imparted good values to me, perhaps you should use the WORD too; it makes the world a better place. And yes, parmindar in a Dr., and i am a living legacy of his impact on my thoughts and attitudes.
