the CMD + CTRL + ALT + 8 keys are one of the accessibility features of OS X. Check it out under System Preferences > Universal Access
Another nice zoom feature in OS X, by pressing and holding the Ctrl button and moving the scroll wheel. |

QUOTE(tinkerbel @ Dec 7 2007, 10:53 PM) Dictionary definition for the word. Your mouse cursor needs to be directly on the word itself. Works in any Cocoa based apps, not just Safari.Added on December 8, 2007, 11:38 amAnother interesting tidbit is to open Terminal again and type these: cat /usr/share/misc/birthtoken and also this: cat /usr/share/misc/flowers This post has been edited by djspinnet: Dec 8 2007, 11:38 AM |

QUOTE(macspeedy @ Dec 8 2007, 05:13 PM) It's the command line interface for the mac. You do know that all the pretty interface that you're looking at is sitting on UNIX right? As for the dictionary function, I've remapped it to Option + D. Much more usable now. Who thought of all these keyboard shortcuts anyways? |
