Just got this news from Jaben Network, Beyerdynamic had launched their latest XP series Earphone.
Pretty unexpected on this news, seem they are targeting more affordable market as well.
The pricing of RM199 is pretty crazy, especially they have 3 different sounding models in same price.
Packed with features such as tangle-free, angle fit, L-shape jack which pretty much gathered all the great design in the market, and hit hard!

How are they actually?
Pretty amazing on the sound on the first impression, the 3 models focus on:

Where to buy in Malaysia?

Do you need burn in?
*Yes, according to user Beyerdynamic Xp series starting to shine in around 70+ hours, fully perform in 150+ hours.

What can you tune about the sound?
*I did have a play with the double flange and stock single flange tips, the sound is pretty different between these two.
Double flange provides better staging and more extension on treble & bass spectrum.
Single flange offers better speed and impact, everything moved forward with more aggressive sound enhanced.

Why i don't any bass respond in the earphone? i thought they are strong?
*Most probably the fitting issue, as angel fit requires better fitting due to their natural solid in inner ear canal, twist a little bit around your ear, with noise isolated seal you can get great bass respond.

Do 3 of them just different on bass quantity?
*No they are not, base on my personal experience and customer feedback, 3 of them presented different signature to your taste, try them if you are able to.

Cable microphonic sound?
*The "bup" sound when the cable touched your body. Try to slide up the cable slider to a comfortable zone, it will reduce a lot.

For me, listening to music is a very private affair. Throughout my life, my musical tastes always have been somewhat different from that of the other people I lived with. Consequently, I learned to appreciate good quality "cans."
Nonetheless, listening was not all heaven on earth. With recordings presenting a wide soundstage, some instruments were heard in one of the two audio channels only. This was most annoying, like a bee buzzing in one's ear.
Years ago I built myself a headphone amplifier with a filter that relieved the problem of the extreme channel separation. This design was published on the internet and soon became very popular. most of the sr60 users do not keep it long, which i "heard" that igrado sharing same driver, but pls do not assume it have the same sound as sr60 ....

Black foams..it starting to get abit stiff and losing its spongy feels.

If im not mistaken, model PA755(older) comes with 1 pair, and EA306(newer) alrdy replace the former
comes with 3 pairs.

The X3i is an super economical IEM with great sound which cant be deny by us, many has tried and confirmed it's JUST GOOD in nearly every aspect. Impactful bass, sweet mid range and detail treble. Good transperancy. The newer version... Many improvements.
IM716 is a more to a very detailed IEM. Using etymotic research technology, (claim to be ER4 driver, look for "ER4" price), the details keep oozing up in high frequency and the bass is very articulate, especially after modding.
PK1 is for those who just dont like IEM but love the casual earbuds. One bad thing of earbuds is the detail lost is VERY SERIOUS, and the bass escaped to ambient makes them thin, but PK1 miraclely excel in producing detail and deep bass.

PK1 needs an amp, IM716 may need one for proper performance, X3i can be run ampless.
If you wants an amp, we can introduce you some.

The design is appealing to me..

Nice price wif RM100. Only curious does it worth a try.

You can ask PCwork, yeah_guyz, akabane_jackel and those lots who had tried it out. The sound is soothing, and detailed. And the bass is soft and smooth (some say it's non-existence but I don't think so). PCwork owns one sold from me.

Shure black foamies nice? dunno suitable for me or not. Everone said my ear canal are large but i'm using the smallest sleeve on my x3i. I find it easier to get a nice seal with it, with larger sleeve I need to twist here and there to get it well sealed.

Shure black foamies sure nice..and suitable for most people. With the foam, you don't need to twist there and here anyway, just let it expand itself

But I dunno if ur x3i can compatible with the foam or not.

HD650 only one colour. Wah the Ibasso will make the HD650 flyyyy, fly high up in the sky... I think yuheng told you before... Believe me in this. In fact I got more profit in K701 but out of ethics I would tell you HD650 fairs more in Ibasso.

there is actually quite some headphone in tat ranges, DT990 is another good choices, dont forgot that, HD650/600(have to depend which is your preference signature), and AKG 701 of course, and one more MS2i

Just curious did you get the pouch from 音悅音響 (since you using the same picture as they are). If yes then you selling with an extremely high price man, it's just less than RM30 and can be bought lower than RM50 include shipping.

sorry nope, we are getting it direct from Alresandro, and we just following what supplier sales, the pouch have the alrensandro logo/brand name...
and one more example for you, it is like Woo audio or STAX headphone stand, it is normally sales much more expensive than the normal third party one, or sennheiser stand as well
