yu heng... i am sad... my mylars somehow fell out of my pocket and immediately someone terpijak it... to make matters worse he was a big guy wearing boots.

The wires are now exposed at two separate tears along the cable... i duct-taped it for now. Also, the plastic part of the drivers split apart, but the wires held firmly sutured to the insides... I also duct taped that as well.

So, dr... can u tell me how long more can my mylarthree last? For now, there is not much difference in the sound quality so i will keep using them till they kaput.

My only options now are 1) get mylars more expensively from Jaben...

2) ebay for iM716 IEMs.... is this better than mylar3i? I tot might as well use this opportunity to upgrade.... but if the iM716 is lousier then its a waste of money... I cant demo them, where i am...

3) save for etymotic er4... is it really worth it? some1 offer me 2nd hand relatively cheap but still... way over my budget

4) U fly here and sell me those mylars... save me the headache biggrin.gif

Please tell me wad u think about the im716 compared to the etymotic er4 and the mylarx3i..... or any other IEMs in mind... Shure's are dead expensive here. I'm looking forward to slightly more bass this time, and similar sized ones to mylars, as I was quite comfortable with them.

From my research so far, the new mylars sound much better... but lousier build quality? Is this true? I cant bear to see my new mylar wires exposed again... sakit hati
