The pouch is exactly what Alex_T shown. Must give him a hug for finding those pictures.
That one is a small one. The big pouch has 3 straps (to tie your headphone steadily) and two small bag for your Ipod and amplifier.
Get the large one, well worth it.

The large one looks functional, the small one more portable is it?

There are both different beast. LOT of AKG and Beyer dynamics fanz at headfi. I suggest you go www.head-fi.org to have a read and grasp how's the signature of both of them. Too long to type in here.

Portable... The non-portable one the A1 amp is fre@king good as rumour (no, not a rumour, I tried it before, make your beyers fly ).
Portable ones, I think I know a powerful amp to drive it. PM me.
