i've been very happy with that gauge since i tried them
was even thinking of trying the zakk wylde 10-60 set

i think you should get a cheap guitar, so that you can smash it on stage showmanship ftw

lets see.. if i remember correctly, bentley, harmony uptown, tone zone. can't remember if the guitar store damansara perdana stocks them or not.
no truss rod adjustments needed, only you might need to enlarge the grooves at the nut and saddle due to thicker guage

i think you should stick to your PGM3. its a very good guitar and a lot of people would be so happy to "upgrade" to a pgm3, myself included.
