Good morning guys!

just wanted to enquire, i've been searching online about the warranty,
and i just have to ask, how do Microsoft Singapore know how long you have purchased your xbox 360 for? the microsoft website said from the receipt of sale. But from what i read in this thread, it seems we are trying to imply to the singapore microsoft staff that we are actually from singapore (i.e. the singapore phone and address).

In this case if we show the receipt (that shows Kuala Lumpur) is it still viable for the 3 year (3 red lights problem) warranty?

I'm have myself to blame for not fully researching about xbox 360 b4 i purchased it, believe it or not i had no idea about the 3rod when i bought it in 4th quarter 2006. bought it from Mega Mall IT center and when i asked about any form of warranty or guarantee when i purchased it the guy replied no such thing in malaysia. If i had know i was buying a ticking bomb i would have most certainly considered again. A few months later i only read about gamers hideout in the newspapers. sad.gif was too late
