the first movie cgi effects was a magic work from Industrial Light n Magic..i dont know about this 2nd movie, who made the cgi effects..anybody knows?

I don't get quite what ALLSPARK is about?? If the race of transformer is BORN from all sparks.....then all forms of robots born out from it, will be NEUTRAL like? Like are you naturally BORN EVIL or GOOD or you born out innocent, but growing up you become/choose to be evil or good.

I assume, robots born then is neutral, and during the course of misunderstanding and intention like to follow which Prime, they choose to be in the gangs call autobots & decepticon. So no robots should be BORN EVIL naturally. The movies seems to make all the ALLSPARK (assuming it is ROBOT GOD), choose to make EVIL ROBOTS all the time in the movie T1 & T2. Or this is more about film logic???

Since you said they are born neutral, why the allspark create the robots on Earth that all is Decepticons in the movie??

Anyone watched it at BTS's ex-Imax screen? (Cosmo Theatre now) ? How was the quality, visual effect and sound effect? Any additional /extended IMAX scene found?

I see...but the movie has poor way telling me that. A little bit clearer now. I would imagine the frustration for people like the poor critic Robert Egbert as well to read the transformer comics and know all the lore to understand what's going on in the movie.

just watched at TGV sunway and i was in a tired mode when watching the movie coz not enough sleep ..hahah ..... overall is freaking awesome coz i like the sound, action and more robot ... lol ... but kinda disappointed at few parts...

1. optimums prime died at so early of the movie [or maybe the time pass so fast till i never realized.]
2. Jetfire is a ah pek ....haizz.. and scarified himself to prime.
3. more process during the combining of jetfire+prime [i mean not the camera not just shoot at the head only but the whole thing like how prime transformed when first meet SAM and during public conferences and whats the new name???  super prime or sth??]
5. the battlefield is like to wide edi and too many robot till cannot really focus [especially all of them are protect the prime's dead body] but i think this point nvm lah....lol
5. star scream is so damn coward lol.....
6. i think the movie is quite rush abit i mean the action scenes and etc ... probably should have more and longer duration probably 3 hours...

i think there are few more as other forumers had mentioned like SAM should be dead but suddenly awake ...werid.... and etc... oh well whatever..

so all of this is just my opinion only and i think there are few more bad comments as other forumer mentioned, oh yeah ..i just dont wan to mention all the good comments coz assume u already this movie is awesome and hell yeah really lots of funny part its like Action + comedy movie edi.. lol

and again its awesome!!! lol .... and gonna watch at mid valley tmr...lol

btw Malaysia got IMAX version ..?? but where ?? KLCC or Times square ? mind too share....

Agree with the prime died too early part.I was surprised when I saw Jetfire was a old uncle robot. It was totally out of my expectation. Where is the matrix after all? Destroyed together with the Harvester?

After Prime fought off Megatron and Fallen. He disemble Jetfires' parts?Jetfire sacrificed just like that?

Bumblebee have more actions. I love it, but the rest like Ironhide and Rachet doesn't get their part. Jolt as well. Arcee is the three motors or one of them?One more thing, no autobot died from the battle. Suddenly become so Godlike? I thought they were way weaker than the Decepticon?

Yeah, from the Jetfire part. I only understand that they will rust and die. So now no more Sun Harvester, and the all spark. Not to spoil the movie. I really enjoyed it. Forget about the storyline. Just remembered I paid for the effect and scenes. Totally worth my money. Jordan's backup army was lame. 2 helicopters.Don't know why I felt that Simmons was somekind of icon for this movie. The part in the museum remind me of The Night At The Museum 2.I am expecting part 3 and will be the final part. I hate to see it drag here and there just like Terminator, Spiderman. I only watched the anime when I was a kid, remember the Autobots have difficulties in fighting with Devastator, but in this movie it was a disappointment. I had a second thought of Devastator was not dead but defeated just like in the cartoon,separated just like lego. Nowadays lesser 'not franchise' movies are produced, but everyone love to watch superhero movie right?

there is a difference between average/even bad writing and downright abominable writing.

there are stupid scenes which are tolerable, and there are stupid scenes that simply drag the movie down, like the leg humping and all the mom scenes.
