WTH, dude seriously why are you making balls as an issue, the shot was directly fired at the back torso,John was beneath the balls,as it was a upshot from below thats why devastator balls are in focus. Cmon man,i seriously feel that you have the impression that decepticons cannot be defeated by anything? cmon read the books, novels and also watch the series. The Autobots have defensor ever heard of that combinator? he is way smarter and stronger than Devastator. whistling.gif
The BALLS is the WEAK SPOT of devastator!! How do you explain robot babies if not the Balls creating the sperms energons for the Autobots or Decepticon love making session? You see how CRAZY Wheelies lust for Megan Fox have you not when humping her legs??? nod.gif

Gotta hit where it hurts em....

Like i implied before, its meant to be an upshot from below and also could be purposely done to create a scale effect, john as a ruler and devastator as the subject, that is to give the audience an impression how big Devastator really is. The balls is not an issue could be from those construction machines that has the wrecking balls attached, heres what the writers say:
They are paid 8 million to come up with that idea....how awesome is that? rclxms.gif

female transformer not terminator, its a pretender btw. It tongued sam to rip of his brain remember the ALLSPARK has been transfered onto his brain. Its not having sex with sam,you didnt see the sharp thing coming out from her back? the same thing that killed the army fella in the first movie eg scorponok tail.
Have you seen the 1st movie?? How the even tiny small Decepticon robot so violently goes after Sam & Mikaela trying to rip him apart. This Pretender is bigger in size and almost as equal as Sam and have much strenght...christ! its a metal robot!! To rip off Sam's head & brains would easily takes seconds.....literally.

you should know that by seeing my replies.

Frenzy, by nature is already crazy mate,he went after Sam and Mikaela with the intent to kill. Dont think the pretender in terms of the cyborgs in the terminator series, they are heavy especially the T800 Arnie, but the latter model the TX was much lighter. Why the huge contrast? better technology and lighter but stronger parts. The Pretender is made to impersonate humans to the finest detail even weight, remember even Bumblebee cant notice that its a decepticon. The reason why it closed the doors after seeing Sam writing symbols on the wall is to slowly get him to clam down and restrains him and rip his brain out while he lowers down his guard, it is the lower the chances of damaging the brain due to a scuffle.

It sure didn't care to damage Sam's brain when it goes after him violently later on. Even shoot some proto plasma and nearly blow Sam up to smithereens...and spoils the chance to obtain the power in his head. The Pretender should quickly in few miliseconds swish her katana blade tail on Sam's neck, which like how you see Japanese Samurai Ichi skill of quick sword drawing slicing people up without dropping a trace of blood....Sam would not have the time to react at all.

You sure are ignorant let me show how ignorant you are, even after i explained it very clearly that its no Blackout:
well its not a construticon in the beginning la bro,its just Demolisher dont get confused as his alternate mode is a Terex RH400 Excavator, explains why he is huge. The chopper is actually, Grindor(his alternate mode is a CH-53 super stallion) not Blackout(his alternate mode is a MH-53M Pave Low IV helicopter), two different choppers here.
Yeah but, it look the same and no explanation given in the movie for its re-appearance.

too bad for the audi(sideway) sweat.gif didnt get a chance to transform

i m hoping to see hot rod in the nxt movie.
At the start with booming voice explanation the latest exposition with fast & furious imagery and chasing of the cars, I don't know which is Autobot and which is the Decepticon cars. I only clearly know the huge ass uniweel construcon is the bad guy since optimus clearly jump on him....

For the 3rd movies, hope Michael Bay (if he is going to direct it again) go slow and introduce memorable good & bad guys. We don't need hundreds of unfamiliar steel clashing randomly for no reason, but likeable, personable bots duke it out in life & death. Few scenes satisfy me, like that forest scene especially

uh cmon, you want there to be a caption or a small voice that says,"here comes grindor not the same with Blackout, heres a comparison" a big table pops out with Blackout and grindor side by side, and the details are then presented on a 10 second timeframe and this keeps going on for all the other bots,it also eliminates the need for prequel novels or acknowledgement for previous works like comics, novels and series, what a good idea?
The first movie have good impression of that robot, that's why I remember it. Maybe I missout some scenes on part 2.....the appearance again confuse me.

QUOTE(nimrod323 @ Jun 25 2009, 06:26 PM)
doesnt seem like it,watch the part where scorponok jumps out from the sand(1st movie,40 minutes into it),it only jumped 1.5 meters from the left of your viewing angle and pierce the white soldiers with glasses. In TF2 it jumped from the front like 5-6 meters to Jetfire's(hes taller than the white guy in the 1st movie) front torso and damaged it. 2 different scenes man.
I believe the keyframe animation is re-used again rather then build the complete scene or action. Not sure consider this as lazy by the director. Perhaps, he consider that as favourite scene from the 1st movie and just added it again for part 2......just to prolong the movie. So a sense of Deja Vu when watching it. Once it comes to Blu Ray, and if you watch side by side or continous viewing could be weird. Perhaps that is the episodic nature of this kind of movie....like how you watch Blue Thunder...and every episode the same frame scenes of that copter flying roll out with the accompanying pumping techno music background begin to imprint into your mindset. Also you notice the slow mo walking group action of those soldiers leaving the hangar feel stale and completely out of pacing of that movie.....

Just like TF1...Barricade's Death not shown...but u can found the answer in SEQUEL NOVEL..that was marketing man...also wheelies'...u can found all answer in DVD too..or BLUE RAY

Added on June 26, 2009, 9:20 amDon't U know GSC running time 110 minutes compare to the curve...they said about more than 2 hours..???????????
The movie plenty of cuts?? Not sure how many sexual scenes they need to cut out? If they cut out all the Megan Fox scenes there's probably 50% left to watch? biggrin.gif

The cinema I went have the robot panty shot, and wheelie humping scenes. Too bad for those missout, try another cinema or wait Blu Ray version so can watch it slow mo.

I read from other outside forum & reviewer, there's some Obama scenes with dialogues, but here in Malaysia seems this is cutout and left only images here & there.

Hope you guys watch the Megan Fox slow mo scenes....worth the ticket price! icon_rolleyes.gif

- Love story between Mikaela & Sam, who's going to say the "L" word first.
- They are going to Egypt, via instant space bridge and Sam injured his hand during the travel, not from any fights running or fighting the robots but during travelling.
- The most impression & personality of the movie comes from 2 fan favourites, Optimus & Bumblebee
- Don't forger, the 2 helicopters from the Jordan Army.... "HERE COMES THE JORDANIANS!" tongue.gif

Bad transformer review! vmad.gif

Now I know what everyone hates Micheal Bay!
1/10
Author: mgayles2005 from United States

"Transformers: Revenge Of The Fallen" is a movie that begs you to walk out of the theatre. The Decepticons have returned to wage war on humanity, and Micheal Bay has returned to wage war on your eyes, ears and brain. You exit the theatre with the feeling that you survived an epic battle, and your brain was sadly left behind to die.

The plot? The Decepticons want to activate a machine that will block out the sun. This machine just happens to be inside of a pyramid that the Transformers built, not the Egyptians, to conceal it. To do this they need to capture Sam Witwicky, who's played by Sia Labeuf, who harnesses an assortment of powerful alien knowledge into his brain. Maybe he should have penned the script.

Megatron and his buddies come after him which results in numerous unspectacular battles. The Autobots and Decepticons fight all over the place, but good luck telling them apart. The camera moves so fast you can barely see who's chasing, or shooting what. In one scene a silver car transforms and destroys another silver car. The climax involves these warring robots, as well as entire armies fighting in the desert. This scene is mostly a series of explosions, with no sense of who's shooting at who and what's shooting what.

Bay has the wit and maturity of a twelve year old boy looking at a playboy for the first time. He's fascinated with dogs humping, so much so that he cuts to it in the middle of action sequence. He fills an entire college campus with babes that belong in Maxim magazine. He thinks its funny for a giant alien robot to have giant robot testicles. This essentially becomes "The Love Guru" with giant robots. And somehow in this supposedly politically correct age, where we have an African American president, Bay goes out of his way to show us two stereotypical illiterate jive talking' robots with gold teeth, and ghetto slang that would make Jar Jar Binks cringe.

I loved the original show, Beast Wars, the animated film, and the first live action movie. None of the said films will be considered masterpieces but they're Shakespeare compared to the latest film. Even a movie about giant robots needs some kind of logic. But even as I write this the film its already a smash hit after only a day in the theaters. That's because all people want to see is robots fighting, even if you can't see the robots doing it, and you don't know who the robots are. If you want to save yourself ten dollars and your sanity, get the toys and imagine them going on adventures, what you come up with will be better than this.

For those who watch it 2nd, 3rd or 5th time....is the goofs, etc true?

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1055369/goofs

Goofs for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009) More at IMDbPro ยป
advertisement

* Revealing mistakes: A group of F-16 fighters flying in formation are seen banking off to begin engaging the Decepticons. Inexplicably they each launch flares - a kind if decoy for heat-seeking missiles - as they break formation. This is likely because it's library footage of F-16s on maneuvers.

* Crew or equipment visible: Low angle camera rigging shadow cast on Bumblebee on the far right of the frame when he driving along at sunset in processions with the other Autobots.

* Revealing mistakes: Near the start of the film the Union Jack can be seen flying upside down, which is actually a distress signal.

* Continuity: When Sam Witwicky drops his papers on the college steps three people on the right hand side are walking behind him. As the shot changes the three people are further back just getting to the steps.

* Errors in geography: When Jetfire is reactivated at the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Virginia, he blasts open a hangar door and steps outside, the exterior shot showing him and the other protagonists being in the "boneyard" at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona, at the opposite end of the country.

* Continuity: In the deli Sam takes his hat off twice.

* Crew or equipment visible: When Bumblebee nudges Sam while in vehicle mode, you can see there is a driver inside of the car.

* Errors in geography: The entire scene involving Egypt, Jordan and the Bay of Akkaba is a geographic mess. Petra is almost 1000km from the pyramids which lie just outside Cairo. Also, Cairo is nowhere near a sea-shore but is a few hundreds of kilometers inland from the Mediterranean.

* Continuity: During the frat party scene where Sam gets a green drink, the drink is full in one shot, nearly empty in the next, and full again in the third.

* Continuity: After Devastator has ripped off the top of the pyramid, Jetfire (John Turturro)is seen giving coordinates to a US Navy aircraft carrier. Jetfire is meant to be on the same pyramid, but you can clearly see in the background the same pyramid without any damage.

* Continuity: After the college girl turns into a robot and Sam and Mikaela run out, you can see that Mikaela has taken her heels off running down the stairs. However, in the next scene, they are back on her feet.

* Continuity: When they go to meet Agent Simmons in New York City, there is a shot of the Brooklyn Bridge with the American flag on the eastern tower of the bridge. Although, earlier in the film (and in the trailer) a Decepticon is seen knocking the flag pole off of that same tower.

* Continuity: Sam was lying on ground after explosion and has swollen jaw and burn on left cheek. When he stands up to hug Mikaela he has no burns on cheek and jaw is normal.

* Continuity: In one scene with Mikaela, Leo and Sam at former agent Simmons's store (John Turturro's character), Sam takes off the cap twice in front of him.

* Plot holes: In Egypt, both Long Haul (green dump truck) and High Tower (yellow crane) are fighting NEST individually, while they are also miles away acting as the right foot and left arm of Devastator respectively. Long Haul is shown in robot mode several time, while High Tower is even killed by Bumblebee.

* Errors in geography: In a couple scenes in the movie, it mentions the USAF characters are at a military base in New Jersey. But each time the scene switches to this "New Jersey", you can see a desert-like environment and mountains in the distance; both of which New Jersey does not contain.

* Revealing mistakes: The film begins at 22:14 hours in Shanghai, while it is still light outside. Shanghai, China at 22:14 should be dark.

* Continuity: When Sam hurts his hand after 'arriving' in the desert he magically produces a bandage.

* Factual errors: In the scene where the Decepticons attack Paris, red and blue sirens are seen through the streets. Sirens on Parisian police cars are just blue.

* Revealing mistakes: Very loud Decepticon meteorites are crashing down and exploding by the pyramids in the distance, but the guy with the camels in the foreground show no reaction.

* Factual errors: After Starscream deploys the EMP and the soldiers lose communication, MQ-1 Predators are ordered to be launched. The airframe shown taking off is the MQ-9 Reaper, not a Predator.

* Continuity: A Decepticon knocks the American flag off the top of a bridge. Moments later, the flag is back on top of the same bridge again.

* Continuity: In the process of reconstructing and reviving Megatron, one of the drop team gets cannibalized by the others, meaning there should only be five Decepticons left - Megatron and the remaining four. When they head for the surface, the sonar tech calls out six objects moving and six objects are seen on the screen, not five.

* Continuity: During the scene when SoundWave orders the Decipticons to mobilize, there is a shot in which two robots, whom appear to be BoneCrusher and the tank version of Devastator from the first movie, are shown. However, both of these characters were supposedly killed in the first movie. BoneCrusher had his head cut in half by Optimus Prime, and Devastator succumbed to massive amounts of fire from both the military and AutoBots in the city battle.

* Continuity: The Aircraft Carrier that launched the naval air strikes near the end of the movie had the same hull number as the Aircraft Carrier that was sunk earlier.

* Continuity: During the scenes in the desert, Mikaela's white jeans stay perfectly white, when by the end they should be covered in sand.

* Factual errors: The Predator UAV is a prop driven aircraft, not a turbine (jet) driven as depicted in both this and the Transformers (2007) movie.

* Factual errors: When "scrambling the Predators", the UAV pilot is heard calling out "V-One, rotate." V-One is is the speed where you no longer have enough runway left to safely stop an aborted takeoff. The proper call would have been "V-R, rotate."

* Factual errors: In an overhead scene of the Pentagon, the location is cited incorrectly as "The Pentagon - Washington D.C." The Pentagon is located in Arlington, VA.

>>> WARNING: Here Be Spoilers <<<

Goofs below here contain information that may give away important plot points. You may not want to read any further if you've not already seen this title.

* Factual errors: SPOILER: When the Deceptrons were recovering the remains of Megatron, General Morshower states that there were objects approaching the depth of 9000 fathoms to Megatron's location in the North Atlantic ocean. 9000 fathoms is a little over 10 miles in depth and there is no location in the North Atlantic ocean with that depth.

* Continuity: SPOILER: The artifact called "The Matrix" changes size dramatically from when Sam holds in it his hands to when the Fallen inserts into the pyramid machine.
