Darius McCrary In Talks To Return As Jazz In TF 2

Darius McCary is currently in talks to return as the voice of Jazz in "Transformers 2," according to Black American Web.

Mr. McCrary revealed this during a catch-up article on various stars that the website was working on.

If he does return as Jazz, it will be interesting to see how the screenwriting trio will handle his resurrection.

"Transformers 2" is tentatively scheduled to begin filming in June 2008 - dependent upon the Writers Guild of America strike - with it hitting theaters in June 2009.

Michael Bay is ready to face the Transformers fandom once again as he gears up for the sequel to his blockbuster Transformers Movie, but this time, he's learned his lesson, and he's prepared to throw fans a few curve-balls in the process.

Rottentomatoes.com is reporting that director Michael Bay and team working on the sequel to this past summer's Transformers Movie will be purposefully leaking fake information, such as script treatments and ideas, to throw fans off the trail. He also confirms that the previous leaked script treatment, which had already been debunked by producer Don Murphy and others, is a fake, as we reported some time ago.

You can read the full report on Rottentomatoes.com by clicking here.

"One thing I do know is I know how to screw them up more," said Bay. "We're going to leak a lot of false information all over the place. I now know their game. They're going to get a lot of script treatments that they think are going to be the script. They will never see the script. We've got scripts and treatments written up that we're going to leak. No one's going to know."

it seems he really dislikes HD DVD
QUOTE
The HD DVD battle continues! Several persistent Transformers fans continue to inquire on Michael Bay's ShootForTheEdit.com why Paramount and Dreamworks released the Transformers Movie in HD DVD and regular DVD formats, while excluding the apparently superior Blu-Ray format. As some of you know, Microsoft is one of the big supporters behind the HD DVD format.

Here's what Michael Bay had to say on his website yesterday: "What you don't understand is corporate politics. Microsoft wants both formats to fail so they can be heroes and make the world move to digital downloads. That is the dirty secret no one is talking about. That is why Microsoft is handing out $100 million dollar checks to studios just embrace the HD DVD and not the leading, and superior Blu Ray. They want confusion in the market until they perfect the digital downloads. Time will tell and you will see the truth."

Let the HD DVD and Blu-Ray battles continue!

but he's back at the helm(thank God)
so no worries atm thumbup.gif
