Hi,

I'm thinking of going for facial to clear the pimple blemishes on my face..i'm fair, so the blemishes are very obvious on my skin. I saw Adonis' advertisement in The Star paper, 4 sessions for RM388. Some more, they are sponsor for Miss Astro Chinese pageant.

For those who had been to the facial, can tell me your experience? I hope they are not like New York Skin Solutions, where I heard those beautician are really very scary..they ask u to sign up many packages, dont want to let u go out of their salon easily, etc...

I been to ADONIS(Sunway Branch)for facial before and sign up for their IC02 package.Now didn't go coz shifted to Shah Alam.Their service was good,their facial include eyebrown trimming and shoulder massage.So far they don't really force me to sign up for their package but they just explained to me which package suitable for me.After I tried their facial a few times,then only I start to sign up for their package,but i didn't purchase any products from them.I just went there for facial and have a nice sleep there Like the environment and music that they play

do the they do facial for male ?

yes, they also provide facial service for guys, but no shoulder massage for guys,

I tried the one at Sunway branch before, they are very pushy in selling their product and course to me each time i go for my facial..........

Kinda scared sometimes

Added on September 11, 2008, 11:54 pmI signed package in Adonis Damansara Jaya before, their beautician are very pushy in selling their packages & products too. Once you tell them that you do not have intention to sign new package anymore, they will show you unfriendly face. Feel like wasting my money there.

yea same.. mine is free at DJaya. de beautician know we is free den faster n simply wash & massage for us.. i think most of de famous place also like tat.. which i dun like to do facial. exp n de service not good.

yeah, one of my friend did hers at Sg Wang branch.....Super duper pushy

i go to the sg wang branch but my beautician is not pushy..in fact, its quite hard to get appoinment on weekend..if u dont call them, they wont call you..
facial is not bad ...they do eyebrow trimming for you too...

service vr vr vr bad.... always no room no room... lazy layan customer... rude beautician especially new grad beautician.. and too many new grad beautician.. different beautician diff treatment given.. massage got anot is a bonus if u got a hard working beautician.. eyebrow trimming upon request.. no ask no help.. noisy outside with beautician laughing and chating outside while masking.. sign long ago but till now haven fin my programme..due to room fully book - always..

u rather go to some small saloon, operating by lady boss cum beautician

they spend a lot on advertisement thats why their service is expensive

i also sign up 4 adonis package for 2nd package dy... cannot say they r really really pushing u to buy their product.. oh yes, sometimes they will, but once u clearly mention that u dun1 to buy first, their wont keep on push u... they are professional. i am a person who really hate ppl push me buy anything.. but i dun think they r really tht kind of pushing u to buy compare to those small facial saloon. and then, if u go those small facial saloon, u still have have to worry ur face will getting more worse b4 u get tht facial threatment. but 4 me, i think at adonis tht r not necessary to worry at all. my face b4 i went to sign da adonis package is really ugly i tell u. my supervisor who r a adonis customer recommend me to go there 4 face threatment... 4 first few times, maybe u cant see da results yet... but da following thretment tht they given although is same but effects is diff.... u can clearly compare da results each time u go 4 facial at adonis by capture ur face photo wif ur phone, this is wat i do.

and then da package price is diff.... depends on da facial is 10times/20times. but sometimes even da same package 4 10times also ll come out wif diff price. if u got frenz who r a adonis customer recommend u there ll get cheaper a bit.

well, 1st i sign da package is 10times.
and 2nd package which i jus sign this month is 20times. of coz 2nd package is cheaper.
so choose adonis is not bad... dun have to worry u need to sue them coz make ur face look bad than b4. like we saw newspaper sometimes small facial saloon make customer face getting more n more worse.. good luck

yes, i totally agreed with you. i went to New York Solutions b4, the consultant really very push u to buy and sign up the packages, if you dont, then they will show you face.

i sign up at De Beaute also, but they shifted to Damansara, almost a year i din go for treatment, and i have call them so many times, even i email to Singapore HQ to ask for new outlet in KL as they promise will do open. sigh.... one year ady, no outlet in KL open yet. then i ask for refund so many times, but till now nobody wana layan me at all.

thats y, i sign up facial package at small salon at cheras, its name is VIVIEN SALON, she is very professional and very friendly......she herself is the boss also beautician, tt y u feel very comfortable and privacy coz she only do facial for a person at a time......

This is a bullshit company. Delay employee salary............. delayed my sister 4 months salary. what a b**** !

I think in therms of professionalism no facial provider can defeat Leonard & Drake/ Dermalogica. They were never pushy, and were insistent for me to take extra samples than the norm to follow up with my facial.

BTW, all beauty SA are very pushy one, if you don't like the way they approach you, maybe you should join/share a facial package with someone else. Just a suggestion

All the beautician is like that one. they want to make sales wat. I suggest you better go see professional one which is dermatologist. They are doctor.

Cellnique products are good, but facial depends on which branch u visit/ the beautician skillful or not.

after i finish the cellnique package, i will try on adonis very satisfy their service.

i signed 2 package in adonis, which i think im crazy!! im really been force by them to buy products n services...after all, the most important is if the products n facial r good to u, BUT...3 cases that make me feel this ADONIS service is X#$%@#%%XXX
1) my beauty consultant intro me a platinum serum which cost rm1500, which contained 5 vials, i use the 1st on the same day, after i came from the facial, the consultant said she pre-mixed my serum so that i can use at home n bring for next facial..i didnt give any comment that time, the usage is like 1 facial session 1 vial, n if use at home 1 vial can last for a week daily use, i open 2nd vial when reach home, but after 3 days im full of pimples n i stop, and pimples heal when after tat. i inform to my consultant tat, mayb this is not suitable to my skin, n she insist mayb my technique was wrong, she use my remaining serum from 2nd vial for my facial session, the same thing happen AGAIN..so now my to insist i dont1 this product, dont force me to use anymore, but she say as all the serum is mixed so cant return, but it was not my idea/request to mixed the serum !! n actually im ok tat time as long as nothing happen to my face anymore, but the story to be continue...

2) one day i went for during my consultant off day, the other consultant start telling after im here so long my face actually not much improve, my package doesnt suit me..bla..bla..bla.my package price is wrong, actually i can get more facial with price ( i paid rm350 x6 detox facial ) ...she wan me to cancell all old package n sign another type,(rm280/facial-for scar reducing) n i tried once n it actually can see result, i told her the earlier event of breakout after platinum serum, n she promise me to return the serum tat still not use, even it mixed but if is still new can use for other client,so im happy...even not refund by cash but can change to other products, and this 2nd consultant ask me to look for her for future...who knows when next i go for facial, my 1st consultant was happy,both of them argue n finally im my 300rm per vial serum x3 total rm900 only can exhange with rm109 clay mask, and the 1st consultant feel unhappy cos her commission been cut off as i change my facial package n return product..bla bla...so wat i can see is both consultant actually go by commision n not care abt wat i actually need!!! the product actually can be refund as im allergic but she dont want to forfeite her commision so wan me to keep the platinum serum at cabinet also dont1 help me...wat a good hearted gal...if she got 5% commision from product mean..she wan me to waste rm900 to protect her rm45 commission!!

3) from then i just wan2 complete my package n run way...but after tat she is more actively selling me product, she introduce me KOSO enzyme from japan, so it hv no halal sign, i worked in saudi arabia, so i rejected her tat i cant bring this back to my working place...n it is ridiculous for me to buy 2 big bottle enzyme tat i not sure it suit me? (who know it happen allegic again) n she offer me can return again..but who going to belive her return scheme again cos rm900 product only can exchage rm109 product!!! and what i actually worry is my luggage weight with 2 big bottle enzyme n is imposible for me further add in my over weight luggage n i gave excuse it is not halal food i dont want to bring to islamic country...n this poor consultant instructed me to take risk to bring it as well !!??? i mean i alry have strong reason not suitable for me to buy this now as im travelling with limited luggage weight, it is not halal, imposible to exchange in short period...but she still asking to take risk...im wonder this is how they do business???? the enzyme only cost rm150/bottle, so how much commision she can get from there??? till need to ask ppl to break the law??? (for ur info, the custom in saudi arabia will read ur content of chocolate n c wheather is alchohol free at times...so they r strict on halal...y i wan2 take risk for her...)

for me , I don't use any expensive beauty care , or go to facial every month , coz I eat healthy food, do exercise , drink enough water , no stress , enough sleep and secret Facial massager - 24k golden beauty bar

Their consultants there are very unprofessional. They introduced products and facial treatments to you without actually understanding your skin condition. If your skin is acne prone, they will assume your skin is oily and thus introduced you all oil-controlling products and treatment. When during the half way you realise the products don't suit you, they will try to "save" the situation by selling you other kind of products, which inevitable shows at the first place they didn't even know what was wrong with your skin + they get a chance to sell more products. The consultant who attended me was very pushy in selling me the products as well. Whenever I said, "no I don't need it", she will still go on for another few minutes explaining again why these products are essential. The facial treatment didn't improve my skin condition BUT introduced other skin problem, which I believe it was due to my skin hypersensitivity, but after all the money spent(which I believe it was overpriced) you would expect a better result than this, you would expect them to take skin sensitivity into account, but no.

Worst part? The last treatment left a rather large area of WOUND on my cheek(noticed I emphasize WOUND), and they have the face to say it was NORMAL in the course of treatment. Seriously? IT COULD HAVE LEAVE A PERMANENT SCAR ON MY FACE. If they can leave a large area of wound that could potentially become a permanent scar on your face, and tell you it is normal, that pretty much explains the quality of their service.

I don't know how are the other branches doing, but for this particular branch, unless you are familiar with who are the better consultant/beautician, I DO NOT recommend you to go there, how some of the beautician are qualified to be one is ridiculous.

May I know who is your consultant? I already signed up few continuous package in Adonis IOI puchong but my consultant is not pushy at all.. I prefer to deal with her compared to other consultant.

And I told her i want a beautician who is more patient and with good extraction skills to follow up my facial treatment, as I am having a pimple prone skin and I'm quite satisfied with the arrangement.

I encounter the same problem in New York Bukit Indah Branch. I sign up a package and after 3 treatments the manager there keep pestering me sign up another 10 treatments. Very unprofessional the way they do business. Not much improvement after the treatment either. Each time go there need to waste time listen to their story to buy product, upgrade to better treatments etc etc.. I have make up my mind to tell them off and finish the rest of the treatment and stay away from New York Bukit Indah. I not sure anyone up there encounter the same unpleasant experience as me. I am thinking of complaining to their HQ in KL regarding the way their employee treating the customer. Ther are just spoiling their reputation. So unlucky to choose NEW York ....

Anyone tried the adonis branch at Bukit Indah Jusco? is there the beautician & service is good? The consultant i met that day so far quite professional, she say they not hard sell on products. She suggest me to take ICO2 x10 is RM2989.20, dunno issit worth to take this ICO2 package? hope someone have tried before at Jusco Bukit Indah can share with me their experience.

My current facial is at FUN SPA Sutera Mall, hard selling on packages & products, ask me buy package & products everytime when my facial, which is i super hate so i dun want to continue sign the package anymore.

Do not ever go Aeon Bkt Tinggi branch, the beautician, called Alice is somehow rude and pushy. I made a wrong decision to buy a serum from her. The products might be good, but they oversell it and hv no technical knowledge at all. They sell a 15ml serum for RM440, but I found it online at price less than RM 200. Some more they cheated the origin of products, DR.PGA TIF-C Lightening serum 靓白原液15ML is origin from Taiwan Winston Medical Supply Co., Ltd.

I just tried adonis at c180 balakong. moisturizing facial for rm138, and they give me 1 sheet mask and 1 rose mask (haven't try it yet)
Facial Quite nice and beautician not pushy at all.
Told them i will see how my skin react and think about it.
A little bit less clean compare to herbaline (facial room)
They offer me 10x moisturizing facial for rm2500 very pricey
I usually pay rm 105-140 for moisturizing facial at herbaline ampang branch. But herbaline sometimes a little bit pushy to sell the products especially when they have new products launch. But other than that its good
