Long time never throw darts edy, been busy packing and now still in the midst of unpacking because of moving house. Will probably start darting again end January.

Managed to read this old post and i must say you made an interesting point. Darting doesn't have to be associated with consuming alcoholic beverages... in respect to the individual. Many pubs make it a point that they must achieve their "quota" during a tournament which is quite a sad scenario.  shakehead.gif
Would hope to see more tournaments being held with a better objective in promoting the beautiful game of darts instead of prioritise in selling beer...  thumbup.gif

Agree! Agree!

Darts, like other indoor sports/game, is a test of skill and mental toughness. It need not always to be associated with alcoholic drinks.

Anyway, yes... looks like this coming Maluri International Open is attracting alot of teams from abroad. Participation looks likely to exceed 50 teams (Thanks to the attractive price money). Too bad i wont be playing... need to work  vmad.gif

But anyway happy darting to all fellow darters and all the best as well!! Cheers! thumbup.gif

No Nick. I am not sifu sugu.
I am just a beginner in darts working in Bandar Sunway. Nearest "port" for me is the Summit.

Cheers.

Oh Okay... hehehe.. mistaken identity. Century Club@Summit is indeed a nice place... very spacious and food & drinks prices are reasonable. Not to mention alot of good darters playing there.

I myself also considered newbie in darts... just took up darts 1 year ++. Usually i would play at Ol' Skool (Jln Gasing, PJ) on every Monday & Wednesday.... do drop by if ya can  nod.gif  Cheers

Thanks for the invite, Nick.
Will give U a tinkle if I decide to venture to Ol'skool.

Cheers & Have a Nice Day.

Welcome to the forum. You will enjoy darts as it s for all ages and fitness levels
supported by a close knit, friendly and helpful community.

This is a good place to get get guidance from veteran players.

BTW if u are from Puchong there is a new darts outlet opening up in Bandar Puteri.
Location is above Steak House opposite Giant.

Please feel free to ask anything you need to know.

Regards

Hello queue,
I stay at Puchong. Where exactly is Steak House? Is it at the shoplot near Citibank/UOB bank or on the other side of the flyover/interchange near Maybank/Public Bank area?

Cool! Soft tip darts? What is the difference between soft tip and the traditional tungsten/steel tip dart others than the tip material?
What about the scoring - are they the same ?
