Try everyone's favourite, the Subang Shooting Range.

KL indoor should be the City Square range.

Fees usually around 2k + inclusive of vetting.

I'm a member of the Selangor Shooting Association, situated in Subang. You'll need 2 introducer to get a membership.

Somehow, I got a special membership rate i.e. initial RM750 for joining, including a years' membership fee. Thereafter, it's around RM350 per year, payable all at once i.e. once a year. There are 3 swimming pools, squash, gym, meeting halls and cafeteria. And, many shooting ranges.

As a beginner, you're allowed to rent 0.22 rifle and skeet shotgun @ RM3 each. Bullets for 0.22 is about 40 cts each and the shotgun bullet is RM1.10 each, including the clay pigeon.

Your application MUST be vetted by Bukit Aman before membership is given.

Vetting by Bukit Aman.
There're 2 forms to be filled and submitted to the cops by the association.

i thought SSA's fee is 600(joining fee) and 300(annual fee)..

i think u can just go there to the office and ask for the membership form..

last time i tried to look for the website but couldnt find any.. they all still oldskool la i think.. hehe

if u want to join the SSA, now is a good time (as in worth it) coz the membership expires end of year regardless of when u register..

I am 18 years old and currently a member at the SSA. Fees are as follows.

For my age, 21 and below, its RM100 entrance fee and RM60 annual fee. The weapons you are allowed to use are air rifles and pistols, .22 rifle and pistol and 9MM pistol such as the Glock.
I've currently used the .22 Rifle with Scope. Quite heavy man! It will really pump up your left arm.
To rent a gun for full day, RM2 for rifle cleaning, RM 20 for 50 rounds and RM3 for full day rent so all in all, RM25. Pretty amazing deal for an 18 year old!
