Why can't they legalise BB guns or paint ball gun.At least its not that lethal and still can provide us with a mean of protecting ourself

paint ball if not mistaken can be own legally with licence but need tuning to maintain that it shoots below 300ft/sec.. BB gun on the other hand, fires at a higher speed. Higher speed = more energy = higher chance of penetration and causing injury, thus, unable to obtain legally.

bb gun is illegal cos of its resemblance to real gun.
therefore the gov is afraid that ppl would buy bb guns n use it to rob ppl..
most bb gun are almost identical in size to real gun as in 1:1 scale.
and just that they paint the muzzel in bright orange which can be paint into black too..
thats y illegal..

yea.. that's one reason why bb are not legalized..

i did remember seeing on mythbusters where they were using this bb gun (abit like shotgun type, have to pump).. and shoot into a block of foam.. it penetrated quite deep in.
