its not wat skill u can pour out....
if u like the guitar just grap it and try it
a 1959 Sunburst LP std is quoted US$ 560,000
wen it cost $280 in 1959
(1959 price in 2005money = $1560)
so its reli a gud investment haha
imagine buying a year 2000 model
may b wen ur 80 years old
u oredi have a vintage LP to sell haha
*
the best guitar investments right now are the vintage gibson junior and special models from 60s.
they are still somewhat affordable...USD5k max for most...
in 10yrs time im sure they'll hit USD20k tongue.gif

now back on topic abit.
if you're a noob and wanna get a $1-2k guitar, do not ever let the sales ppl test for you.
get someone go with you, and plug it into the biggest amp you can find tongue.gif

but then again, if you're noob, you wont be able to tell much difference.

so uhh, like always get a friend who can play to go with u.

and uhh, that green day guy is a noob...but his guitar is worth like RM10k...

Whack only la lol. That actually happened to me when i got my first electric earlier this year. All i could play was classical songs, so when i got to the shop and tested the electrics, i ended up playing classical songs on clean channel lol. The sales guy was staring at me. Then he said, "test the distort also la." Then i went "uh oh..." and started playings scales and some lame chords LOL was really blur dunno what else to play. Then i went "oh, yes very nice *nods head*" xD
So there ya have it. Just bang away without a care in the world what you're playing. Thats my advice to you lol

umm CK is about a 10 minute walk from bentley.....and for some odd reason I've lost my sense of direction. I can vaguely remember its down a slope and to the left, or something like that.

Oh, and at CK, try to get the malay dude as your sales assistant. it's somehow easier to bargain lower prices with him compared to the others

Nevermind la.. october was so long time ago. BTW I think you'll only get a better discount if you buy stuffs that are more expensive right.
