do you guys experience a 'lag' problem on your phones? i'm not really sure what's the problem with mine but everytime i want to unlock the keypad, it takes about 5secs or more before the screen shows up. when i first had the phone, it was instant. any ideas how to fix it?
*
There could be many reasons behind the lag, e.g.
- Infected by a virus?
- Running too many applications in the background?
- Too long never restart the phone?
- etc. etc. etc.
Can fix it if the cause is not known. hmm.gif

Hmm, just updated my phone but seems like it don't have much improvement for this.

I just updated my phone too, it has more free RAM now. thumbup.gif

halo, anyone know how much will it costs if i wan to change my joystick?

not just the cap....with the board as well...

You want ayam brand or original? The gap of the price could be very big.
Unfortunately I don't know much about the price, can't help out. sad.gif

thanks for the reply, i seriously doubt it's infected by virus. when i check the background apps, only 2 running which is standby and music player. how often do you have to restart the phone? and how long do you leave it off?

oh, how do you check the amount of free RAM you have? and what's the latest version you updated to? thanks in advance and sorry for having so many questions. blush.gif

You're welcome. laugh.gif

Erm... My frequency of restarting my phone is quite random, 1 time per week or several times per day. sweat.gif
you don't have to leave it off, the purpose of restarting is to free up RAM, just like a computer.

My current firmware is: v 4.0839.42.2.1.

There are several softwares that you can use to check the amount of RAM, I personally prefer Jbak Taskman.

No problem bro, just sharing my experience. icon_rolleyes.gif

i've changed my joystick, myself. it cost me rm30 (i forgot olredy, but around dis figure at sabah, not ori).
just open the keypad. inside there almost like a pc, u can easily "plug & unplug" all the things inside there...

Added on November 15, 2008, 12:14 amoh ya... im using celcom with 3G.
i notice that the hp had problem to clamp on GSM line... it will always choose 3G network, even the signal is weaker than GSM. anyone has this prob? it makes my battery drain too fast on bad signal area...

use lgexplore, show hidden file, go to c:, search lifeblog. try to look at temp file. i think there are some folder that have ur memory. delete the folder and restart ur phone.
