Anyways TS, i suggest u consider again for ya option. Ask ya self, btween gaming and movie which one do u like most or u do often. If watch movie more then gaming then why done just go for iPod Touch? As for gaming, maybe pc can satisfy ur needs in term of gaming. As for my personal favor, i would go for iPod Touch since i got a pc to fullfill my gaming needs. Owning a PDA like device are far more better then own a gaming console. Well.. Thats my 2 cent. Dont flame and no hard feeling.

I have both iPod and Xbox 360, but my iPod is not ipod touch but only nano. My opinion is, if i only can choose either one, i will choose Xbox 360, because why, iPod is only for limited function (u can only play song and watch video clip), after a few months u will feel bored because of nothing much to do with it. But with Xbox 360 u can play and have fun for life, every month got new game to play with and make your life full of activity and cheerful. If u boring with existing game u can buy or download new game and the best part is u can play xbox live online with all over the world, got a alot of friends and having fun together without boundary and physical gathering somemore.

ipods upgrade is getting way out of hand. I was so pissed when my 60gb ipod vid devalue so fast..

Anyway when u compare two completely irrelevant item (come to think of it, this is worse than a NextGenWar Discussion), the only think you should think of is the practicability of it. Whether you are always indoor or outdoor. If you are always indoor, isn't it rather silly to buy an ipod touch?

My pick would be the xbox. Ipod can watch widescreen but watching at such a small screen nice meh? Besides, xbox can play your dvds and upscale them upto 1080p using vga cable.

Also, choose xbox only if you play original games. Why? Because of 3ROD. There is no certain way to avoid so you don;t know when you get it and when you get it, what is the best way to fix it? Warranty.

If you mod your xbox, you can only find ppl to fix it for u and yes it works but  no guarantee that it will not come back. At least you are protected for 3 years if you buy original. I'd rather sleep knowing my xbox is protected rather than having endless worries like when my xbox gonna get 3ROD. I know the game is expensive but 2nd hand game is quite affordable. Besides there are people like pmsoo who provides game renting. Besides support original ! Makes you appreciate the games more more more more.

Anyway, you are just 16 =.='' Prolly you should not step into next-gen first since the cash is quite hard for you to save up.

If you are indeed a movie buff, the PS3 would have been a consideration because it is an all-in-one device. Gaming + entertainment but both are on Bluray of course, but you don't want to pay for that. You much rather prefer a cheap alternative eh?

Go for the ipod touch, because I dont want to see you come here crying after you have to fix the 360 for the 100th time because you cannot claim warranty.
