Hello,

I recently posted something to a buyer in Penang. Everything wrapped up properly and very neatly. Item I sent was a motherboard with the CPU and heatsink on it, a vga, 2xRAM. Put in bubble wrappers as well. Item sent on Tuesday noon before 2pm using POSLAJU and today noon, I received a message telling me item received in bad handling by courier service. The buyer will post up some screen shots to me about this later on.

So what I want to ask is
~ besides POSLAJU, are there any other similar services @ reasonable price? One that we can trust? I'm not sure how many countless times have POSLAJU mishandled packages. If there are any advices, it sure will help ppl like me out there
~ what can I do to rectify this problem if the courier really had a mishandling? I mean we paid for the services and this is what we get in return...

Thanks in advance for any feedback / advice

I have been using PosLaju / PostExpress all these while....
And no problem with them...

But does it makes sense for u to attach the heatsink and processor together? should pack it diffrently

Added on November 28, 2007, 3:29 pmSeriously, if u want really good courier u should use DHL or UPS.

AirPak and NationWide and anything else really bad..

My company are using such service and u will be amazed how they treat the boxes

Thx all for feedback, yeah maybe I should have packed it differently but I have my own reasons not to smile.gif. Anyway, what's done is done
Will try look at the other courier services on pricing.

Maybe will do a poll, stating each courier and price...

Xcept for 3 cases in the early times of me usin' their service, rite now all my parcels reach customers in safe & secure condition. Slight dents (which happens rarely) can b considered as normal

the heatsink was badly dented (just normal heatsink). Anyway, I have discussed with the buyer and trying find best solutions for us
still yet to discuss about the other type of courier service but

citylink 1.6kg costs RM42!!!

yes it was wrapped up in a bubble plastic wrappers and then inserted into the mobo box, fit just nice...
anyway, what's done is done lah... just need to remember not to put heatsink together with the mobo cos heatsink will spoil other parts if it comes off, lucky other stuff was in other bubble plastic wrappers sweat.gif

i'm also always use Pos Malasysia Service.. Can be trusted.. No doubt.. Maybe ur case is a lil bit rare..
Maybe u not put something like "fragile" or what others.. And maybe the service on ur area..

But i think if u have a problem with service on ur area, u can report it to it's manager on ur area..
As i see in my area, they always be nice and careful.. If they receive a bad packaging, they will 'cop' the package
with the signature of it's manager as a proof that they receive the package in bad condition. This mean that the manager
are responsible to the service right..?

Btw, i duuno what are the truth is but, we always have a ways to settle it right..?
