Just called custom regarding my detained parcel, they say will post me a letter and before ending the call, they gave me a reference number. May I know what it is for?

it is for them to recognized which item you're referring to. Without the reference number, every time you call them, you always have to re-describe how your package looks like, where it comes from, to whom it should be sent etc.

Hi Guys,

I bought something from India. The parcel is supposed to be shipped to Penang. I do not understand why my parcel is help in KL instead? I hope some one can shed some light to my 'little' problem here. Many many thanks in advance.

I believe, All incoming packages from oversea will stop at KL first, before it is deported to its local destination.
