AM2 x2 are simply not efficient for some of the codecs used in full 1080p decoding... overclocked low end core2duo(s) are alot better.my spec:

HD-DVD is a dying format... Blu-ray burner/drivers are a lot cheap now too... besides..gigabit networked hdd storage is the best way to go.. eliminate the need for optical discs/storage.. just your basic pc node mb,processor,ram and a small hdd...
