Nasik, are you talking about the plain-looking Single Column Playlist?
If so, do you have the images used in the code?

of course, i have placed them in both places, one in the directory folder, one in the folder in application data. i really doubt its the image problem, because only the background disappeared, the album cover and other stuff are shown properly.

No problem.
I'm not sure what's wrong with the imageabs tag (I've never used it), but it worked after I changed it to imageabs2 (hence the additional commas) and removed the "\" from "\images".

What do you mean? The code? Or where to save the cover?
The code needed is already in there.

If you want to know where to keep the cover, using that code, you need either a 'cover.jpg' or a 'folder.jpg' in the same directory as your mp3.

Hi guys, finally get a bit of foobar, especially thanks to Zephyr_Mage, who gave the info on the imageabs tag. rclxms.gif rclxms.gif

But I do still have some problem to be dealth with. Refering to the pic that I've uploaded, may I know:

1) why the arrow image is not there? I do not know what's the problem although I'm using the code that was posted. unsure.gif

2) May I know who to get rid of the bar below my foobar which displays the files description?

Also, I saw some playcount on the left side of the play/forward/rewind/stop buttons, may I know how to get them? Thanks a bunchies. thumbup.gif biggrin.gif

1. Check your code and the filename again.

2. Go to Preferences->Display->Columns UI. Go to the Status bar/Systray tab. Uncheck "Show status bar".

What playcount?
Can you show a bigger screenie of that?

Thanks for the quick reply. smile.gif Managed to solve the 2nd problem, but I still cannot solve the first one. The code is copied exactly from the post posted in the above. About the filename, which filename did you mean? Thanks a bunchies biggrin.gif

EDIT: Nevermind about the playcount thingie, I don't think I want it anymore. smile.gif

Look in your code for this symbol '↘'. If it appears as "?" in your foobar, then you might be using a different unicode language for your Windows.
I'm not 100% sure though. One way to work around, is to make a small png file and use imageabs/imageabs2.

Thanks, it solved quite a lot of the missing features.

Here is my latest screenie of Foobar.
Attached Image

I am still wondering, for problem 1, do you guys rename those two tabs yourself ?

Next two more question is relating the albumart. Problem 2, nothing is shown at all for the albumart, why is that so ?

Problem 3, why the sudden "No cover" image after what happened in problem 2 Why is the difference happening ?

For both 2 and 3, there IS a .jpg file in that folder.
I normally add my tracks via Ctrl+A (all tracks in the folder inclusive of the .jpg) and Right-click for "Enqueue in Foobar2000".

May i ask for a proper way to add entire FOLDERS or individual tracks for this config ? I am not sure if what i am doing now to add tracks is the proper way or not since i came from the basic Foobar2000 which has a n00b-proof GUI.

to answer problem 2:if u audio file has less than 5 tracks,it will not show the cover due to clipping image in playlist(trust me)

to answer problem 3:reason cause if u don't have the cover of the album, the nocover pic album will show up heck even a little nicer but if looking for cover art(high res) try this site

http://www.freecovers.net/
(mainly for Audio CD,DVD,etc covers)

http://www.j-popcdart.com/
(front J-Pop,J-Rock covers:front only)

others site also has some good covers

http://www.cover-paradies.to/?Lng=EN
http://www.amazon.com/
http://www.walmart.com/
http://www.bn.com/

usually u can put your album art cover to your respective album folder (eg x:\Music\English\Boyz II Men\II\cover) but ummm for tabs, just rename what u like (eg playlist/cover/library,etc)

1. Go to Preferences->Display->Columns UI->Layout and check the layout. If you don't have any idea, post a screenie.

2. Your code says "$ifgreater($mul(%_height%,%_itemcount%),88". The album that is having the problem happens to have only 4 tracks. The product of the equation ($mul(x,y) means multiply x with y) is probably not greater than 88 so it does not show any of the images in the $if tag.

You see, the $if tag works like this, $if(something, do this, else do that). If you would look at your code, at the end of the $if tag, there is a ",)". Nothing is in the "else do that" area, which means foobar will not do anything if the $if statement is false.

That's what I see from the codes, I have not tried it so I can't be 100% sure.

3. I'm not sure what is wrong with this but are you sure the jpg in the folder is called folder.jpg or cover.jpg?

you can alter the code to resize the album cover according to the itemcount.

I see, thanks for the sites. The problem was, there were .jpg in their respective folders already. However, i solved the missing albumart problem except the "< 4 tracks" problem.

Here is the layout screenie as requested since i have no idea what you're looking for.
Attached Image

I solved one of the missing albumart problem. Apparently, there was significant white area on the side which hindered the albumart, probably. I cropped it out and pasted on a new file leaving no white areas and hence, problem solved.

However, I have no clue as for the codes but i understand it came from Item Display :
$ifgreater($mul(%_height%,%_itemcount%),88,
$imageabs2(100,90,0,$sub($mul(%_height%,%_itemindex%),$add(%_height%,1)),,%_height%,346,,images\ART_cd.png,)
$imageabs2(134,91,0,$sub($mul(%_height%,%_itemindex%),$add(%_height%,0)),,%_height%,344,,images\cd2.png,)
$imageabs2(78,79,0,$sub($mul(%_height%,%_itemindex%),$add(%_height%,5)),,%_height%,362,,images\nocover8.png,)
$imageabs2(80,80,0,$sub($mul(%_height%,%_itemindex%),$add(%_height%,5)),,%_height%,361,,$replace(%path%,%filename_ext%,cover.jpg),)
$imageabs2(80,80,0,$sub($mul(%_height%,%_itemindex%),$add(%_height%,5)),,%_height%,362,,$replace(%path%,%filename_ext%,folder.jpg),)
$imageabs2(100,90,0,$sub($mul(%_height%,%_itemindex%),$add(%_height%,1)),,%_height%,346,,images\case.png,)
,)

Where do i change the codes to allow albumart to be displayed although it only contains 4 tracks ? I listen to singles, so there are bound to be folders with only a few tracks.

Thanks for helping me out, greatly appreciated.

As for the layout, your problem is, you've inserted Splitters into the Tabbed Panel Stack Mod, that's why you see Splitters in your tab.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Change them to the panels you want.
