btw, im still playing around with its voice dial/command feature while using the handsfree, can anyone help enlighten me on how to use it?
bububang: u can use any normal miniusb cable to charge and sync the v6.

wait till u try V9, more responsive than V6.. hehe..
voice dial? u can use either with or without BT headset.. to use with headset, press the headset button.. to use without headset, press and hold the call key(green color key).. how to speak? see below: V6: Say a command. (beep) Me: Name dial V6: Say name (beep) Me: Motorola V6: Did you say 'Motorola'? (beep) Me: Yes

the camera itself, the speaker, the touch sensitive button at the front screen... the body itself...can easy get fingerprinted on it
well.. i think depends la.. mine.. the camera sometimes got vertical green lines all over it.. but restart then ok d. speaker is ok.. the touch sensitivity not so good.. and yeah. its fingerprint magnet..

finally i can connect with pc.. but the cable.. i bought from hp shop.. its same 5 pin cable.. but juz wondering why mine not work.. i did even try another usb cable..

The rm399 package give you patched v6. it customized to have one feature so call 'myMaxis'. this stupid feature locked at the right soft key which you can not change.

remove your memory card.. plug into laptop, copy all jar files to /java/ (i think is java folder or any name related to java)

not necessary copy to that folder.. And remove memory card..
there is another method with using motomidman something like this.. can install directly using cable.. if wan to install from phone.. set the phone usb connection to usb mass storage.. copy the file(java) After done..
Then from phone go to "Games & Application > Install new "
when the phone off, by holding * and # keys, press the on/off button, your phone will go to bootloader screen.. then u can start your RSD lite to load the firmware to flash your phone..

between v6 and v3xx, i strongly recommend v3xx cos both are same OS except the camera and design... and v3xx looks tougher than v6...
maybe the problem is u flashed the wrong firmware? do go register an id at modmymoto.com.. then go ask for help at their specifice v6maxx forum.. they wil provide help vl fast... juz post out the details about the firmware etc watever appear on ur skrin to them..

nothing happened before as i knew so far.. perhaps, when using phone as modem, just leave it with flip opened..

wah~~so good...my keypad karak since 3rd day i use it~ ur luck count not bad edi~ then my v6 body, same like yours~ but just happen 8month after i use it~ now i gonna peel all the black thing off~
then after 1 year and 2 month i using... the screen goes black now~ but the keypad work fine, still got blue light.. wondering is flex cable patah or firmware problem...
overall, to those who wanna buy this..not recommended for long term use..

as far i knew is 2gb.. high capacity not sure support or not... never try b4..
i think 4gb can.. just acquired v6 last week.. replacing v3x.. not much different.. but still the styling is so much better than v3x.. and again with the easy peeloff exterior..
