i guess your salary for the rest of your life will be max 5k only if you work as 'answering call'

next time when you jump, people will evaluate what you do in your previous job ...

yo ppl, i'm not the one offered 5k to answer phone calls la. I also wish my current boss will pay me 5k:P (which is impossible). I'm referring to another forumer somewhere in page 69 or 70. Please read thru.

Go for professional certificate la, at least something to equip you.

I'm doing part-time degree rite now. Finishing end of this year. Our lecturers encourage us to go for pro paper like ACCA or CIMA but when i think of all the finance and accounts manager in big company my knees will go weak. peanuts salary (some get less than 10k) but the boss put the future of the company on your shoulder. Tax pay a lot also ur fault, company not making money also your fault, some even have to look after admin & HR. Sunday also have to work sometimes. siao rclxub.gif Unless I go into finance and become wealth planner, financial consultant etc la.

which one is better??

permanent job is better during recession. cos you don't know when the recession is going to end. But then again, permanent also they can retrench u. getting 2700 is normal I think. try to go for 3k after confirmation.

Hi All,
I'm a newbie here...
Just want to ask that...
A Fresh graduate diploma student in Business adminstration wil get how much of salary in his first job??
*
depends on what job you get. If sales then pay + commission will be very high. If admin assistant can be as low as 1.2k depending on your location as well.

Then you must be very expert or they require long hours of work.

Now I think I probably going to a wrong sector (accounts).

Even ACCA graduate in big 4 accounting firm with 2 yrs experience only get around 3-4k. doh.gif
Some more everyday work till 10-12am night. Really work like a dog only get like that.
*
haha, we're on the same boat.

But I've nvr worked in an audit firm b4 and wouldn't want to as well. But after 4 yrs in accounting, I'm really sick of it. Plus now I'm taking part-time degree in accounting. feel like want to vomit also. But no choice have to finish it bcos I'm almost at the end smile.gif

Now i choose companies that don't need to work long hours tongue.gif

sometimes feel like want to switch line. Haiz.....

Nice to see many high pay job smile.gif as well as discovering fields n types of jobs that could provide high income.

I myself getting 2.2k as fresh graduate due to it's an MNC, well it's actually MNC outsourced to a local company.

After that, I get several jobs in all these years but they are not paying me much compared to my first one, due to:
1. Im not doing something really relevant.
2. I moved to less urban place, my hometown.

However, I save more right now... While I barely can save half of my income when I get that considered not bad pay when I stay in urban city.

When think of salary, personally I feel, we should focus on various points: High pay? Stress? Future prospect? Environment? How much you can save? Wat did you sacrifice: Health? Free time? etc...
*
can save money very good already. Like me now every month almost kosong cos too much commitment sweat.gif
