The DRAM company IMHO looks like the best package at the moment......so wat if got 1-2 years bond? Dun tell me u onli plan 2 work 4 less than a year than cabut?? 1-2 years seem quite reasonable 2 me with all da above mentioned perks involved......adding up all da allowances ur salary bout RM5-6k a mth lo.....still wan consider meh....

But of course make sure u ask around bout the work environment, turn over rate as these factors might influence your final decision....

Unfortunately I decide to take up the R&D Engineer post as that's where my interest lies. biggrin.gif Another reason for me not to take the DRAM offer is because, I am married and I am not willing to relocate for 5-6 months to Melaka. I told them that I have to turn down their offer for this particular reason and ask them to contact me again once they shifted to Senai permanently next year. Must be dumb not to take this offer.

I guess with the worldwide increasing demand of RAM especially for solid state device (SSD) storage, they are able to give that much bonus. Some more they are still start up leh...

If you are a fresh graduate, not recommended to go MBA with little experience. MBA courses are mostly group discussion based, with the lecturer being the facilitator. How are you going to contribute your knowledge when you never manage a subordinate or a client before? Better gained some experience first. Even after you graduate with an MBA, it doesn't guarantee an increase in your salary, unless you graduated from a top tier MBA school abroad and join a multinational company.

I am not a lawyer. However, I did know a few persons who are fresh-grad law student.

The pay really depends where you are.

In KL, my friends told me is around RM1500 - RM2000 starting pay.

In Johor, its about RM1000 - RM1500.

In penang, Its about RM1300 - RM1800.

Thats all I know.

Hope that helps.

That's not really a lot, IMHO - compared to UK, Swiss graduates.

Very easy. Spend 500USD in each Malaysia and Singapore for 30 days, by spending the same amount of money in 2 different countries, you can tell the quality of living.

Don't think anyone going to win in this debate. it will go on and on with no tail end. I myself involved in this kind of oversea salary talk with friends before. each have different opinion. have to respect each other differences. No right and wrong.

still i personally prefer msia.

Hi fellow expats

I have been working in KL for 8 months.

I heard that you are only allowed to go out of Malaysia for 14 days a year or else they will tax you 28% of your annual income?

Is this true?

Don't think you will find lots of expats in lyn here. Are u an expat yourself?
