ermmm... the salary is fine... but dont think yours is a pure o n g company... maybe consultant or contractor..

Yeap...my company is an EPCC Contractor affiliated company of one of the big guns in Oil & Gas Headquartered in Japan. I started as a temp work towards 6 months contract of 2K/Mth..to a year deal of 2.2K/Mth..and last year promoted to Permenant deal with 2.5K/Mth salary..

Thought of jumping to another O&G Company like schlumberger/Exxon Mobil/Technip..should be easier road for me than jumping right back into the mainstream...what do u guys think?

Hopefully can get 3K this coming increment (Next Month)...If i don't..i'm trying to find a good base to go and talk to my admin manager..even my boss also advice me to go and look at the market value so that i can get a good reason to 'kau tim' with the admin.

I'm wondering whether this year is safe for people to migrate to other companies (IT Companies)...risky or not as we know that fresh new employee are often layoff target.
