QUOTE(jacktai @ Mar 18 2009, 05:32 PM) It all depend your job scope, your qualification, anyway can ask about 20% increase then your current salary. Like around RM2300. i just had the interview with the interviewer, proposed salary is 2.3k upon confirmation will increase to 2.5k.I believe that will be the reasonable salary for assistant post. The scope looks ok, i can do it... |

QUOTE(jacktai @ Mar 19 2009, 11:11 AM) For the paid aspect, sure is a good opportunity & the paid are comparable. its a logistic company, the environment i dunno how its gonna be as the the boss im gonna report to is not IT background which im not gonna learn much from him/her. Gonna be independant again, as from my previous employmentBut it all depend on the new Co. working environment. Anyway have a try, if not suitable then find another job. Some more its a very good increment. Normally your current company will not increase your salary from RM1900 to RM2300 in a short period. Normally company increment rate about 5-10% (unless promotion). Mean you need to work extra 2 years only might get the offered salary. Remember its only may be, as lot of company will use the excuse that economic not good, then no increment & bonus this year. |

QUOTE(Ken @ Jun 4 2009, 06:01 PM) before you ask for higher paid, you need justify what value you have. does your job give you any value ? haih...that's what i always consider...and you only hold diploma. degree is every where nowadays. some company will consider that also ... means they can hire you but not much. i have started study part-time for degree This post has been edited by Liuism: Jun 5 2009, 03:56 PM |

QUOTE(abc2005 @ Jun 30 2009, 10:32 PM) Compared to other industries, IT is defintely grossly underpaid sector as can be seen in this thread. yeah, i read alot of IT comes from India and bangladesh with DEgrees. They have the skills, just dowan to show off oniI think it's due to competitions of 'cheap labour' from China and India as well as the Phillippines. |
