I agree too, having a Master Degree doesnt mean that you will have a good kick start, some might even just ended up the same salary as those 2-3 yr experience Degree Grad. But when come to real working life,
people will see your experience more than your paper, that's the reality of life.
Off topic: If I could get a Master, I would aim for MBA instead of post grad on my current field. The stepping stone is totally different, brighter and wider. Suitable for those who has the vision to go for top management, leading organization and earning big bucks. Its gona be a long term investment though.
As this is relation to integration of academic & working experience. People & organisation in this lattice world is continuous improving their skills & competency. Both has to weight simultaneously or neither of them which is more important. Besides, MBA could equiped you with a "Well Grounded" skills not just limited to an management organisation, but instead it could helpful to be businessman.

but MBA is very common, it's anywhere everywhere.
On the contrary if you choose other post grad programs it's rather less competitive.
Is Degree in E&E, Mechanical, Computing, BA, Accounting, Finance & etc is very common, anywhere, everywhere?so why bother of the competitiveness?

Technician dont get pay 2.3k....Job wise we do everything from system modifications and field site calibrations.....Underpaid? Well, not that lucky enough to find company that can offer higher...
Maybe you should rephrase more precisely that technician rarely get "basic" pay of RM2.3k but can earning more than this RM2.3k(due to OT).
