Nop, just a residential house.

Shud be mate, my 128 became inadequate after getting my Aurilium sound card and Z5500D. Really could hear all the hiss, pops and crackles.

But those i ripped myself to 128 last time didnt have noise tho, just that not as clear and sweet as when i played the CD itself. CD is still the best.

louder background is due to the higher gain from ur sources, mean ur sources high elec out....
try some lossless songs as well

btw, anyone encounter build quality problems?

hmm should i reinforce by applying a lil bit of glue at the wire insulator at the joint so it won't slip off next time?

Depends how you handle them, If normal use I can say it could last more than half a year , but don't be too harsh on the wires coz its very thin

But the Mylar itself is very light , don't have to worry if fall down

very light but if used together with wire holder then quite heavy lor
