*
Wait I check the ruby ones. It's just a colour difference. For me the new X3i soft flex is comfortable.

QUOTE(dlyz @ Dec 18 2007, 06:06 PM)
You guys use amp for your x3i? If so i want to ask is it suitable to pair with a cheap amp like LDM+?

How long is the x3i cable?

How does the treble, bass and soundstage of x3i compare to recabled KSC75?
*
I am using it ampless or Ibasso internal amp. Actually it runs good without an amp. LDM not really synergize with X3i sorry. The cable is VERY long. That's why it has a cable manager there in the package.

QUOTE(Wolf516 @ Dec 18 2007, 07:00 PM)
Can give me the details on how to exchange the double flanges? biggrin.gif
*
Looks like I will have to exchange ours with mine... sweat.gif Just pos back to us...

QUOTE(ezralimm @ Dec 19 2007, 09:40 AM)
A quick Google showed the X3i is a Dell Axim (now no longer in production).
Erm... dell's arent exactly renowned for their sound quality.
Or is the X3i some high end DAC/AMP?
*
X3i not that one doh.gif

QUOTE(nles @ Dec 19 2007, 12:45 PM)
HAha, I saw lot's of Susan Wong, EMi Fujita, Audiophile CDs at POPULAR shelves. So tempting but already got them in APE format lolx.
*
Good enough, APE is hard to convert but easily obtained.

That day the QCs were drunk and forget to check the IEMs. No problems after that. (I guess they ban drinking after that, LOL)

I tested all the sizes (mine x3i), but i still don't feel enuff bass coming from x3i...
the bass is not punchy and deep for me...

bro wala and yuheng do u hv any other recommendation for me ah?
i want somthing with wider soundstage, more dynamic, punchy and deep bass...(sorry for asking too much)  tongue.gif

**i like the bass in my previous sony ex90...
*
For you case...
You can try the XBi, or jack up your budget, get the followings: Super.fi.5.EB or Beyer Dynamics DTX50.
Bassy stuffs.

QUOTE(grimdevil @ Jan 21 2008, 12:54 AM)
there's a lot of difference bro... i tested a unburned one... if listening for a while then i think ok.. but if u wanna listen for a long time u might get a headache.. but then again this is a very subjective matter which differs for different ppl... so best thing to do is free one sunday n take a long trip to yuheng's place.. it's worthit... plus u might get poisoned wif someother stuff too...
*
Sense a deeply poisoned guy. Another victim tongue.gif

QUOTE(jacklsw86 @ Jan 21 2008, 12:43 PM)

*
Penang... I see I will travel to penang or not. Or else just find any Penang guy who bought XBi (lots) and try meet them up.

QUOTE(metalz @ Jan 21 2008, 01:11 PM)
you have to burn it straight 40 hours or it just can be done slowly while listening to them?
*
Can burn in for long hour but in interval let it have a 'resting period'.

If you are listening to many metal songs then get the XBi. X3i certainly not lack of bass.
