i think it doesn't matter if you're left handed. most left handed people play right handed guitar anyways for multiple reasons.
for one, it is much easier to get right handed guitars.

when you are learning, you're not familiar with either hand. so i advise you to try your best to pick with your right hand because once you get too comfortable with picking left handed and you have already fixed a mindset, it is very, VERY hard to change.

so while you're stillnew to playing guitar, try your best to play right handed for the sake of the future tongue.gif

however, playing left handed isnt bad at all. as for shops selling lefty guitars... quite a few of them sell, like chambers music and the guitar store.

i don't know about lefty classes so i can't comment on that.
buying a left handed guitar would be convenient for you if you play left handed but its very hard to sell it off next time. you can do what hendrix did, flip a right handed guitar over tongue.gif
