alamak did not know there is a test tonite
hehe got my momo, tested it on my lap saturday, put it on 100%, can feel the steering heavy when turning corner, not much effect on rumble strip(?).
the momo unlike the dfp and g25 dun have bearings but bushing, can feel the little slack
took everything apart on the same morning (guess im not the patient type)
first the internal in all its glory
1. red circle: behind the motor is the small gear which turns the optical sensor (1024 resolution),
[somebody modded this gear using a kyosho 9 teeth gear for bigger turning wheel radius - he also removed the wheel limiter/stopper - pink circle is the stopper]
2. pink circle - this is the wheel limiter, stopper, 200 degrees iinm
3. blue circle - this is the centering sensor iinm, there is a reflective strip on the shaft, when wheel return to centre it stops when the sensor detect the reflection from the strip

just four screws off and the wheel is off

the pieces - the main shaft, the metal stopper (grey), the main gear (white) - the wheel itself is sweet (and sweat n airliur sumer - GG's lol - aku dah cuci!)

comparing wheel size - the momo is a tad smaller - im going to use the momo steering wheel in my project coz the paddle and switches are nice - but the rubber is a little sticky (byk peluh n airliur nih)

definitely going for more turning radius, but i dun think the motor can handle if going overboard so prolly 360-400. the g25 got 2 motors n can centre much quicker really
some ideas in my head but not sure how it is going to turn out - need to fabricate many things - will update later
