A huge number of iPod Touch week 38/39 owners having problems with their iPod's touch screen for not responding to touch, refer to Apple Discussion thread.

I'm one of the victims of this problem. The screen did not respond to my touch at all, seek help at service centre and they did restore to factory settings and got sent back to me. Bam, the touch screen still did not respond randomly. Well, even service centre technicians can't solve this, am I entitle for a one on one exchange?

A thousand bucks device that was bought not long than a month ago started to have problems? Might as well go with Zune. Also, iPhone users also having problems with the unresponding touch screen for after 2 months of usage.

Any of you guys out there experienced the same thing?

Charlton, yes I was referring to official Apple discussion thread itself. I guess Apple can just look at the matter and can't do anything about it as they're afraid of bearing the cost to replace all of the affected units.

friends, I guess they'll replace a new full unit. Correct me.

i'm getting a one-2-one exchange...yay ! a brand new touch. seems like the one that i sent in is badly damaged. haven't pick up the new one yet, so not sure about the production batch & firmware...

What's your iPod's problem? Touch screen unresponding? Others?
