You could take out all the PCI slot bracket and than position a case fan facing toward the PCI slot opening. That would help to exhaust the hot air and u got to choose the fan size and speed. Allow you to balance between noise and airflow ...

i second that suggestion. thinking of doing that way too...using mid speed fans to exhaust hot air at that area would help to to cool internal case...
