Hi guys, I've just replaced my clutch plate with a new 1.6 clutch plate. The difference is quite obvious. More grip and acceleration cos minimizes clutch slip.

how much is a 1.6 clutch?
anyone tried 1.8 clutch on a 1.3 Wira?

My advise is, try not to speed too much on Wira. No matter how much you put into it, it's still 4G15 which lack the horsepower for fast pickup and top speed (I know the engine can be mod to achieve over 150HP but those are too extreme which will need frequent maintenance).

totally agree...felt like this since the day I got my car. I feel like the car itself is completely hopeless...the gearbox is rubbish, engine is too weak for fast driving, chassis feels big and cumbersome. The only thing suitable for my car now is highway driving. Thank god I use the Federal/LDP often.

Still...it didn't stop some people from modding their cars like this whistling.gif
(huge ducktail, twin exhaust, satria GTI-like wheel guards, evo bumper-can't see)
I kinda notice when he drove...he had to rev quite a lot on 1st gear. Is that normal? Mivec engine?

how you know it'll be 'better'? what if he didn't do well when drilling the stock disc brakes? Its like making my own sport rims made of aluminum and saying it can fit on a H2 Hummer. I dun wanna risk my life that way. I'd rather buy the drilled/cross disc brakes outside...dun care how much it costs.

That is the kind of mind set that's gonna get you killed one day. There should be a rule against DIY brake discs isn't it? No offence la...not that I want to get you killed either (touch wood, titanium, aluminum, plastic). But I think that there's no price when it comes to safety.
