btw, where you guys fitted the CAI hose? outside like that black Wira or just behind the bumper? And how you fit to avoid clogging up water? Can roughly draw out or something?

brake pump...for rear la...RM55 a piece he charge me. Good japan brand. Got local brand for RM48 a piece.
but I have to say...he did a really good job. My car now feels much smoother when driving. Plus he found out the annoying squeaking noise I had all these while. My regular mechanic couldn't find it when I sent in to check doh.gif Luckily I went to this new place.

Top Speed...at SS4C. Its a shop near my place that I didn't visit all these while. The bill is unexpected really...but I think I got what I paid for. He spent 6 hours on my car...it better be tongue.gif

Added on December 16, 2007, 3:08 amhey, I have a question...anyone knows if the oil filter is supposed to be loose or not? The mechanic said he could remove the oil filter with his bare hands...and that's not normal...betul ke?

ya, I'm not sure if its normal or not...maybe not good to be too tight? But if its that loose also...black oil will leak out. Can see the stain on the filter after removing.

anyway heading out to remove my bumper now tongue.gif I found the bumper clips...but have to pin-point where the M8 bolts are now.

M8 bolt. I'm just using the standard tools from the car boot. My house don't have extra wrench...only other standard tools - hammer, pliers, etc

I think if you tell them, they'll do as you like wan smile.gif
pretty sure they've experienced doing the same for other lowered cars.

I warn you first...that guy (big sized chinese guy...supervisor I think, name's Ben) will tell you to repair this, repair that if he finds ANYTHING wrong with your car. Macam salesman sweat.gif He's one of those people who maintain their car like nobody's business...every 2 months change black oil...that kinda stuff tongue.gif

new wira owner reporting in.. 1997 1.3M
just took over from my uncle..

anyway, some questions for WOC members, have anyone replaced their aircond vents? how much do they costs? mine is broken, i can only adjust them up or down, cant adjust left or right..

and also, do anyone know how to remove the whole dashboard? where are the screws located? mine is a bit loose on the left side, thought of DIY fixing it..

hello new member rclxms.gif

I suggest you properly maintain the car before doing any DIY work. Since you just got it...surely there are some things that need to be replaced or fixed.
