Like mine... I got a friend in Proton SC... so I service my car there... while catching up good old time at the canteen.

Else if u can find somewhere cheaper with good workmanship... can go for workshop.

Just go to PESC if your car still under warranty. If something bad happend, easier for you to claim for warranty. I only send my car to normal workshop once the warranty period is over. By the way, PESC service charge is quite expensive... shakehead.gif

i think if still under warranty, u should go to PESC... if u wan to claim warranty in the future, they will check your service booklet to know if u have serviced your car beside the PESC... may have problem if u have service at normal workshop

both Proton SC or workshops can be a bit pricy but so far I heard - Proton is worse. And not all workshops do a good job in servicing your car. Honestly...

based on my experience, if ur car going for repair jobs that need the warranty, then please by all means go back to proton. if u need to do normal service like changing lubricant, please, any workshops will do as long as they don't mess up with ur car that can void the warranty. why i said so? personally, i'll rather pay rm15 workmanship than wasting my time waiting at least 3 hours juz for them to do the normal servicing. past experience, not once but 3 times, i sent my brother's and sister's car to the SC center, each time i need to wait from 8 sumthing in the morning and about noon only i get the car.

my car dont have any problem actually, just wanna do normal service for 20k. my car has 24months or 50k (whichever comes first) warranty and my car is still under warranty.so some forummer here recommend me to go to pesc while under warranty and some other forummer recommend me to go to normal workshop only.personally if want to ensure everything will be checked then better go to pesc lah but pay higher price meanwhile going to normal workshop will save me some bucks but there is doubt about the genuine parts they use.

like i mentioned, for normal car servicing, u can go to any workshops. u go there, if they find any problem they would tell u what it is. but then, if ur car still under warranty, u can always choose not to repair the problem at the workshop. go back to the pesc and fix it. my sis car air con kong few times 2 months after getting it. it was the fuse problem oni, the mech told me if the car still under warranty, they refuse to fix it coz scared later i come back hoot them. seriously, for normal servicing, it is really not worth the time spent at the pesc juz for the workmanship costs ur gonna save.

u can choose PESB authorized service center...not the main branch.. a smaller workshop..but be smart to locate 1 with good service.. my colleague kena tipu 3 times in cheras for the workmanship & mechanics overcharged him because is still under warranty.

Adoi.

Just be safe and service at the PESC la.

Later if got anything happen, u can fire tham kao kao.

If u go to outside workshop while ur car still under warranty, say bye bye to ur warranty la.

Which one would u value more? Ur car's warranty, or saving some money?

i sent my car for 20k service at PESC glenmarie yesterday.I was charged with RM 232.61,around RM120++ is for the parts charges and RM105 is the labour charges which I think was high,rm105 for labour charges? shakehead.gif

ok that's just the first story, rclxub.gif
When I took my car after the service, I had to ask the for the extra engine oil. So OK,i got my extra engine oil, then I took the key and went to my car, they left my car outside the PESC without locking the car shakehead.gif , to make matters worse they didn't remove the seat cover when they performed their service and no sticker was given to indicate the next service. doh.gif rclxub.gif

Luckily I removed all my personal stuff from the car,If not maybe they would have taken it too. When I serviced my car at COE,they charged less for labour charges and they even washed my car for free thumbup.gif but not at glenmarie. doh.gif

I just hope nothing bad will happen to my car and I will never send my car for service at PESC glenmarie again! vmad.gif

That's kind dumb from the SC..not professional for a main SC Glemarie I presume a man branch direct from Proton?

They will actually put a plastic to protect your carpet and paper to protect your seats...and they lock your car. That's my experience from a EON branch SC...remember the branch SC is hell lots more professional than any authorised service dealer or franchise SC. You guys need to differentiate between both kind of SC.

maybe it's more on individual rather than the branch fault, but i've heard a lot of bad complaints about glenmarie PESC. Hypermount, is rm105 labour charges is normal for all SC since I had been charged way cheaper than that at other SC.
